A great way to earn extra cash is to recycle things that have become obsolete in your life. Electronics are something that come and go very quickly, they break, you need to upgrade, etc. Unfortunately most of the time these things end up in a landfill. Americans throw out 350,000 cell phones a day and 130,000 computers a day. Most decide to take the garbage route instead of locating the nearest recycling center, listing the out of date item on Ebay for a small amount or paying a retailer to recycle it for you.

Gazelle has been featured on CNet and The Today Show for their efforts in recycling over 100,000 electronic gadgets a year. They'll take anything from Blue-Ray players to video games, cell phones to laptops, if it has a battery they want it. Most items will get a very fair monetary offer. For example, I just sold my HTC Hero for $55. Sprint would have offered me $40 through their buyback program.

Other items that are too out of date or that are completely broken will be accepted for free recycling. There are still some exceptions to this though, I did manage to get $10 for a broken Xbox360 I had sitting around so definitely take the time to study each product you have on their website. Here's the kicker, anytime you have an item that they offer you money for they provide you with a free shipping label. You can choose either FedEx or USPS, so you can just leave the box on your doorstep if you want for your mail carrier. If you need a box, they'll even send you one within 2 days. When I had some items that they didn't give me an off for, I simply included them in the box with the items that I did get paid for. So I sold and recycled with no expense to me.

Sell and recycle your electronics for some extra cash. Go out and get some more electronics if you wish. Do your homework and head to thrift stores or rummage sales and pick up things that Gazelle is buying. Then there's family, craigslist or local ads. This can be turned into a very nice income for you. Gazelle is a member of the BBB with an A+ Rating.

This is one of the many very neat online money makers that there are on the web. There are many more that will pay you for many things. Forget Ebay and their fees and forget Craigslist and their scams. Keep the money that you have and go ahead and make more!
