Since it was shut down by the Securities & Exchange Commission on August 17, 2012, both former members and people interested in the company known as Zeek Rewards have wondered if it will ever come back. As it stands right now, the answer is most likely no, but what are the odds of Zeek Rewards coming back?
Well let's examine the facts and determine the odds for ourselves:
The Securities & Exchange Commission alleges that company was engaged in a $600 million dollar ponzi scheme by transferring around funds deposited by it's over 1 million members and paying out members with other people's deposits while lying about real profits coming in.
Even if this is false, the odds that this company will recover from such a crippling blow is unlikely. The damage to it's reputation from this event alone is enough to put the final nail in the coffin for this company.
The opportunities to make money with this company were easy, perhaps too easy which lessens the case for it being reputable because in reality there is no such thing as easy money, only the illusion of it. With Zeek Rewards, the business model it operated on which was a form of multilevel marketing created a lot of controversy even when the company was functioning. These types of business models look very much like pyramid schemes.
These are the facts. Allegations are not proof of guilt. There are continuing lawsuits and formers members who lost money trying to reclaim their funds. This process is going to last for a very long time regardless of whether or not the company is legitimate or not.
But let's assume that this company is completely legitimate and was falsely accused by the SEC for whatever reasons. Let's say it does comeback. Even though it's reputation will almost forever be damaged, there will be many people clamoring to it due to the belief that they can easily make money. It is possible that the company will be able to recover from this event and get back on track.
However, when you examine all of the pros and cons, unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros. Realistically it is very difficult to believe money can so easily be made through this company unless there is some catch involved, not to mention the fact that there was a consistent show of profits being made by the company and 50% of that was distributed on a daily basis to all of it's members. This just sounds way too shady even though there are many who want to believe it.
The fact of the matter is, the odds of this company returning is slim to none. But even if it does, it will be a very long process. Former members as well as people who were interested in this company must be careful to avoid copycat companies that have sprouted since Zeek Reward's fall. Know how to spot them. But also know that even though there is no such thing as easy money without a catch, there are still incredible opportunities out there that even though require work, are 100% legitimate.
