There is a differnce between scams and real work at home opportunities but there are a lot of similarities too. Don't feel bad if you fell victim to an online scam as many have. I wanted to point out some ideas that you can refer to when looking at investing money into a company online.
A similarity of scams and real opportunities is they offer a product and/or service but the true quality will be different when you get it. Scams offer something that is to good to be true like earn X dollars an hour by doing nothing. Look at my accounts I make money everyday by doing nothing. That is obviously not true. You have to do some work at some point to get people intereted enough to buy something from you. They are getting you interested buy making huge unfulfillable promises.
The next thing I like to compare is the tools. A lot of scams will sell you a product and not tell you how to implement it online or how to make money using it. What good is a website they sold you if you don't know how to make money with that website. I like to know how many videos and tutorials I will get for spending that kind of money. Are they including word press or other web site builders with it and what seo tools or traffic building tools are included.
I would be sure there is a way you can reach them via a phone number, website, or email. When you get stuck on how to accomplish something and there is no one there to troubleshoot or support you it will have been a waste of money. I also like to know how in depth the training will be. Will it be a one page tutorial on each section or has someone taken the time to do web videos that walk you through step by step. Having reliable support is very important.
Something unique to scams is they overcharge and when you see the price after reading a bunch of convincing selling points and you try to leave, but wait for you only this one time deal we will take off 50% off this product. By then I'm trying to run. If you did get suckered in and bought something you weren't sure if it was a scam and then you see a second point of sale and then a third and so on, It is definitely a scam. They will never be up front with you about how much the total cost is because they need to warm you up to the idea of spending even more money. I hope you didn't get involved in one that hit you for thousands of dollars.
Something I have seen recently that the scams are doing is the same thing that people like me have done to combat scams. They write their own reviews and tell you what a great product it is and how it is going to be so easy to get rich. There is no get rich scheme unless you won the lottery and even that cost some investment to do. So beware of the youtube videos, reviews, and articles that are fake promoting a product to gain rankings and then sell you that same product. These are scam artists and they are trying to make their money back by selling you the same scam. After finding Wealthy Affiliate I would never buy anything without getting to try the products and services first. If the program is so good it should speak for itself. I have found plenty of tools and resources for free online. There are good sites out there if you need help finding how to work at home and discern the scams from job listings and internet opportunities.
In conclusion there is multiple price points and deceptions included in scams. They will try to convince you in any means necessary to buy their scam. A lot of these sites have good rankings when searched in the internet despite how horrible their programs are. Always be wary if they try to charge you for information because it should be free. The people who are getting rich with these scams are the ones that invented them and they will always leave out something that you need to be succesful. I hope it is a little clearer on the differences and similarities of scams and real work at home opportunities. Always find a product that has an actual person on the other end not just a picture on a website. Contact them to see if they will respond and answer your queries.
