7 months back, I was keen on learning more about the Internet Business... But, I had zero knowledge on internet marketing.

So, as a beginner in the internet world, I researched online. I saw those ads in Facebook about making passive income online and watched the video. It got me interested and signed up about immediately... It was training you to run an internet business and I paid around $100 monthly.

In that training, I learnt Internet Marketing there and got valuable information... which helps me a lot since I didn't know anything about it. The problem was, the whole system was just training me to sell their products. They do not train me to market my own niche... it was all about how your promote the company... I was not trained to sell other things that I enjoy.

Long story short, I quit. It felt like I had been scammed, in a way. Then after about 2-3 months, I started to read more online and found out about this term 'Affiliate Marketing'. Basically, Affiliate Marketing is being an affiliate of a product and selling to customers. An affiliate marketer do not create a product but they promote a product that has been created by someone else. And the best thing I found out was... any niche makes you money. Sounds interested and I have a new goal now, to run an Affiliate Internet Business.

Affiliate Internet Business Is About Your Hobby

After reading more about it online, I found out that to be an affiliate marketer, you do not just create a website, promote a product and money will keep generating. I got scared... I thought that was how it was supposed to work! So, after digging in deeper, I realize that you need to affiliate something that you have a passion about. Something you would spend time know more about that subject. It's called a niche (a specialization).

Now, I'm lost.

Problems With Finding A Niche...

What am I specialized in? I took awhile thinking about it and till today I am still thinking of niches that I am good at. That's because you will need to write about it, talk about it and learn more about it. But, with the correct methods, you are able to learn effective and fast way to select your niche. So, let's say I was interested in basketball. I choose basket ball as my niche. The basic thing about affiliate marketing is you start a website focusing on basketball. From there, you talk about it and write interesting articles around basketball. Then, when people start visiting your page more and more, they will buy things that you sell.

The problem I face was, how to I get people to visit my website? As I have been taught, you need to write good contents and use good keywords (words that people use to search in the search engine like Google). That's correct in that sense, but it's just 10% of the whole game. There are much more. It sounded so overwhelming to me... So, I created a website to record my progress on learning more about Affiliate Marketing and for beginners to read about it and then decide if they want to start an Affiliate Marketing business.
