I stumbled across a program about two months back entitled "Big Idea Mastermind", which claimed how the creator made over $700,000 in 28 days.
Needless to say, as a newcomer to the online job world, I was at full attention "Ah TENNN Tion!". After watching the full introduction video (much like I did with the Empower Network), I thought to myself..."finally a real guy with a real plan to help me". I immediately entered my precious e-mail and got the first video sent to me.
The first video
Was a video of Vick showcasing his beautiful mansion and his beautiful cars..just a way of grabbing your attention and making you think that you can have this lifestyle if you join. But it then went into some valuable content..showcasing the three steps he claims to live off of..vehicle, engine, fuel..or some weird car relation that is equivalent to that. I ,again, was hooked even deeper now, begging to see the second video where he would release a secret software he created..
After 24 Hours
Video 2 popped up in my email from Vick, and I clicked and watched it as soon as possible. This second video showcased the 'secret software' which was Easy Landing Page Pro 2. This is simply a software that makes it easy to create a pretty landing page (a way to capture peoples' emails). As far as landing pages go, this is probably the best and easiest to use software for creating one that I've ever seen. This second video really makes you wonder what's in store for video 3..that last video you must watch in order to get the invite link. Video three and the invite link is where Vick made his biggest mistake...
Another Day passes...
And I finally get video 3..the video Vicki claims I have to see to help me decide whether Big Idea Mastermind is right for me. However, you will get the third video and feel the same disappointment I felt..because the third video before access to the program is a video full of success stories by what you can clearly tell are paid actors. Despite this lapse in the third video, the first two were enough to convince me to watch my email like a hawk. He promises that the first few hundred people to open his link and view it the next day will receive the program for free!
Push comes to Shove
And after that day of checking my email periodically ( I mean minute intervals)..I get another email. The Big Idea Mastermind has been pushed back another day but will be releasing at 12 noon..watch for the email. So, 12 noon finally rolls around and I have received no such email. However, about 3 hours later I get the link to join as soon as it is received to my mailbox (one minute after the release) and click on it and sign my info in to receive credit. Once I finish that, I am prompted to a screen that states I was too late and that the next Big Idea Mastermind release won't be until the fall of next year.
After spending so much time following this product, being excited, and placing all my eggs in one basket...all I got in return was disappointment.
And Then I Found This.
Did you know Vick was convicted of one count of fraud for making up names and signing them up like he made a sale to them at an insurance company he worked for...netting him over 30,000 in commissions. Now this information isn't displayed in his videos where he's trying to get you to buy his product, isn't in any of the reviews of the Big Idea Mastermind, and is hard information to find. That's the real key here when looking for information on a program you might buy...RESEARCH THOROUGHLY. Now, I'm definitely not saying Vick is trying to con you out of your money, because the man really knows his stuff..and people can change. However, it also turns out Big Idea Mastermind is run through Empower Network..the biggest scam ever created. With these two facts being put together, I just cannot trust the program enough to call it legitimate.
The Big Idea Mastermind is absolutely scam with many up sells. Good article and well written.
Completely true Betty! Thank you for commenting and reading!
I want people to learn that it is absolutely essential to research who created the product you just may buy!
