I would be willing to bet that if you've been struggling with your online business as of late, you are beginning to lose confidence. Building confidence in your online business is crucial if you ever want to get to the next step. That next step, of course, is to increase your sales or your scope.
Maybe it's time you took a step back and do and in-depth check of your plan, and at the same time, check your level of excitement. You see, without a plan and without excitement, you will hard pressed to bring your business to the next level. Yes, you might be making some sales, but I'm sure it's not what you expect. So, as I said, take a hard, long look at your plan and make revisions where necessary. Then, look inward and determine if you have that same excitement you had when you first started.
I remember when I first started my online business and I mistakenly thought that if I built a website, the sales would come automatically. As bad as that decision was, it never had any effect on my fire to succeed in this business. Instead, I revised my plan (drastically, I might add!) and critiqued my plan over and over again until I had what I thought to be a good, working plan. Since then, I've revised it many times. The revisions are made necessary due to changes in techniques used, goal changes, etc. However, I still have the same level of excitement and desire I had on the very first day I started (June 12, 2006 to be exact).
Building confidence in your online business requires that you understand that whatever training you receive, or whoever you learn from, the results you will get are most likely going to be equal to your effort. Once your effort starts to pay off, you will realize the level you need to be at in order to reach your goals. Once this in place, your confidence in your business should start to grow.
Even if you're just starting out, or you've been in this great business for awhile and you just can't get things going, building your online business takes patience, hard work, commitment, and confidence in yourself that you do this. I know you can do this. How do I know this? Because I was at that point once, too. Remember the fire and excitement I talked about earlier? That's what kept me going. That's why I know you can do this.
