Do You Have A Reason To Leave A Job?

Are you thinking of a reason to leave a job? There are many reasons why you might quit or leave your job. You might be unhappy with your current work, need a change, be bored, or want to start your own company or business venture. The list is endless. But how do you know if your reason to leave a job is a good one? There are many views and questions you should ask yourself before you leave a job. Such as is this a good time to leave a job? What are the benefits of staying vs leaving your current job? Can you afford to leave your current job? These are just a few questions to get you thinking. There are 4 main things you should ask yourself first:

1) If I do leave my current job what will I do after?

2) Do I have a plan? Once you decide what you will do after you leave your job, do your homework and make sure you have a solid plan. Include steps on how to go about completing that plan.

3) What is my financial situation? Can you support yourself while you look for other employment? Or even stick with your current job and start your own company on the side (before you leave to do it full time)?

4) What do I want to do? Ask yourself what do YOU want? Do you want a job or do you want a business? Do you want to work for someone or do you want to be your own boss?

Now with all that on the side, never leave a job unless you have a solid game plan. There are always good reasons to leave a job. But never leave without analyzing the situation from every angle, especially if you have a family to look after. If you are leaving your job to start your own company, I take off my hat to you - going off on your own is a great and rewarding thing, but is a lot of work. With the internet at your finger tips it's very cheap to start your own online business.

If this is something you want to do, a great place to learn is Wealthy Affiliate, a website that I've used personally. This company teaches you how to create a successful online business and takes you by the hand - as long as you are willing to do the work. With that being said, this is not about starting your own business but about finding a valid reason to leave a job. For most, this is a scary thing to do. But have faith in yourself and as long as you DO YOUR HOMEWORK you will be fine.

My name is Andrew and if you would like to know more about starting an online business, I offer a free course here and will be there to help you if you have any questions. Thank you for reading.
