ELearning – Trending From Entrepreneur To Minipreneur

With the continuing growth of the internet there is emerging a new breed of people to the net. This generation will have that great entrepreneur spirit, but will be running businesses on a smaller scale. For this reason, they will become “Minipreneurs” and this generation will be the ones to build small businesses on the internet that will complete side by side with large corporations.

These minipreneurs will come from all backgrounds and all levels of education. No longer is an Ivy League degree required to start up a business. Since a formal education is no longer required for an internet business start-up, where do these people go to learn the skills in the new global ecommerce arena?

In one word – eLearning.

These new minipreneurs will be seeking specific skill sets and are willing to pay top dollar for them because they see the benefits gained from them. While colleges are offering more and more distance learning classes, they still have not realized that there is a new market that they are missing. eLearning is about being skill specific and giving the training that people are looking for. Organizations that cater to those wanting these specific skills will stand out from the rest.

The key thing is that a good minipreneur will know what skills they need and are ready to tell you that they need help developing these skills. They don’t see the need of a traditional 2 or 4 year college program.

There are many skills that new minipreneurs will want to learn. Some include traditional programs such as advertising, marketing, and basic finance. Other skill sets will be more internet oriented, such as building a landing page, search engine optimization, list building, blogging, copywriting, and sales pages.

This is just the beginning. As they start learning these skills, they will want to be more specific in their skill set and will want to break topics down even further. An example would be taking copywriting and expanding into squeeze page copy or writing killer headlines.

Besides ebooks, videos will play a large role in how these skills can be gained. Membership sites will offer specific training programs that will focus on one topic of online marketing. Live online training will become more popular as people need and want that “personal” touch to their training.

If you are just starting out and are considering becoming one of this new breed of marketers, consider what skills that you need and want to learn. Put together a plan on how you are going to gain those skills.

You can find many sites that offer a ”minipreneur” the opportunity to gain skills through eLearning. Are you ready to commit to learning what it takes? Check out information at http://elearning-today.com/elearning-mentoring-programs.
