I got a little scam alert on probably the biggest and richest program out today.
Empower Network Scam
Empower Network is a pyramid program that claims to be an affiliate program. They promise you will sell their "products" and make 100% commissions off of what you sell. Here's how it works.
What they say
You got sold a blogging system for $25 by somebody. Now that you have bought the $25 dollar blogging system you can now, yourself, start selling that same blogging system for 100% commission. For every 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th sale you will receive $25. The 2nd and 4th sale will go to the person who sold you the blogging system. Sounds pretty promising right?
The truth
You really got referred, and the person who got you to join and pay the $25 just got that same $25 transferred into their account. The blogging system isn't really what they are selling, it's just what they say they are saying their selling so they don't get in trouble for selling you a lie. Why would any program with commissions give 2 of your 6 commissions to someone above you if it isn't a pyramid scheme?
Their Next Step
Convince you to buy into their first (of many) upsells. This is another monthly fee on top of the $25 monthly fee for the "blogging system". This $100 monthly fee will get you access to audios of training. Again, the person who referred you gets your $100 dollars, and you can now make commissions on both the $25 and $100 sales you make (same thing goes with the alternating commissions to you and your referrer).
The True Next Step
Convince you to buy into the first of many upsells. Pay the person above you $100 so you can start getting $100 for convincing someone to give you $100. They now have you paying $125 monthly on top of $20 for an ewallet monthly, and $20 for an auto-responder monthly (which you will need to succeed at all with them). That's $165 a month. In a program that is so competitive and dominated by the top figures that you will have seriously little to no success at all.
The Review Ends Here
There are about 3-5 more upsells, being one time fees of $200, then $500, then $1000, and then $5000. If you want to make any money at all you better have $6,865 dollars up front and $165 a month to have any legitimate shot at making money. These guys are the best salesman I have ever come across (along with Vick of BIM) and will get you to give them your hard earned money. They had me convinced. I tried to pay them to get started, but luckily my bank denied the transaction because they considered it fraudulent since they didn't recognize the company. Once that happened I went to my online affiliate marketing community I'm a member of and asked about Empower. I was shocked at the results. So many people had been members it was crazy, and the things they had to say were shocking.
I hope this helped you from buying Empower, or maybe will help you get out of it before you lose too much money.
Thank you and God Bless,
J. Stretch
