It seems like everyone and their uncles are setting up shop online these days. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of new websites being created as we breathe. So if you are considering taking the plunge, you may have doubts because you're thinking it's too late. There are too many players in the game.
I am writing this to try and help convince you that it's not the case. In fact, it's not even close to being too late, and is likely to remain that way for a long time. For one thing, you don't have to worry about my uncles competing with you because none of them are with us here on earth anymore. Also, there are billions of people on this earth, many of whom have yet to connect to the internet. I haven't heard of any slow down of the birth rate so it's logical to believe that trend will continue at least for a while.
But the sad truth is, most people that venture online, are likely to fail. They buy a domain and purchase hosting, and then they just try to throw up a few products and hope for the best. Or they bounce from program to program just barely starting one when they get tempted by the next shiny object.
Competition Is Not Always What It SeemsBut suppose you did know what you were doing? You'd have a huge advantage over those that didn't, would you not? So from the whole competition angle, those that flounder as I describe above, are not really your competition. And that is probably about 90% of those that are attempting to make it happen for them.
I am not asking you to take comfort in their failure but if you think about it, these people become ones that you can offer a valuable service to. Suppose I taught you how to make a decent living online? Do you think that you could turn around and do the same for others? And don't you think that the 90% that I talked about make for quite a hungry audience of prospects?
I don't want to elevate your hopes in thinking that if I teach you a few methods that you will magically be able to retire early. It takes more than that. And I cannot and will not guarantee that you will make any money at all even after teaching all the proper techniques that have helped countless others to make a living online. But I can tell you that if you are willing to learn and apply the techniques, you truly can increase your chances of being successful online.
You Need To Learn Before Showing Others HowIt's important that you, yourself learn the correct techniques though, before you can show others. And it is equally important for you to keep away from all the nonsense programs that promise instant riches or push button success. Take the time to learn from other successful people and you will be well on your way to helping others do the same.
I hope that I have shed some light on just how uncompetitive making money online really is, at least when you look at from the perspective that most people are going to take the wrong approach and will probably fail. These people become your target audience that you can give them the necessary tools to turn it around and be successful online.
Thanks for the article James. I've only been with WA a short time and I'm always inspired and hopeful when I read realistic articles like this. Relatively new to the internet marketing business I've already heard my fair share of promises. The fact that you have been at this since 2009 speaks volumes. Nice work!
Hey Robert. Thanks for your response. I love the service and if you go through the training and apply it, you will see results. Plus, if you ever need help, it has a huge support network of people that are there at the ready to answer you questions.
Hey Anne, thanks for the response. WA is a pretty amazing program. I have been a member since 2009 and it's worked out quite well for me. I have been doing this long enough that I really can help people make it work if they're willing to put effort in.
James, First off, great article! I think your last statement in your response to Anne's comment is key to becoming successful..despite the competition level. If you're willing to put the effort in, then with the right training/right steps you will be successful. I look forward to reading more articles from you as I just followed you! Justin
Hey Justin, you are so right about that. Anyone that is willing to give value to readers are going to make this work. Thanks for the comment.
