Perhaps it's been years since you'ver been in the workforce, or maybe you've never worked at all, and things have changed dramatically in the workforce and you probably wonder who would hire you. The prospect of re-entering the workforce now may terrify you, or you may be thrilled with the idea. One things is pretty certain however, and that is that the job market is pretty scarce and unless you want to settle for a minimum paying job, you're going to have to learn some new skills. And most fields of employment have a much bigger supply than demand. So finding a new career might not be really easy.
However there is one promising career that offers a multitude of benefits and pays extremely well when you learn and apply the skills. Internet Marketing allows you to work from home and inspires your creativity and stirs your imagination. It is a competitive field, and there is a huge learning curve to train to become a professional, but the demand for skilled marketers online is massive. Many millions of online businesses are seeking knowledgeable Internet Marketers to join them as affiliates in marketing their websites and products.
Affiliate marketing simply means you get paid a commission on all of your own marketing efforts. And many programs are monthly subscription services, which means you get paid monthly on each sale, as long as that subscription remains active and paying. Imagine selling 100 subscriptions of an online service, that pays you $20 per month for each sale. You'd now be making $2000 per month, even if you no longer did anything. Of course many people stop their subscriptions, so this is not a perfect illustration, but you get the idea. There is huge money to be made in Internet marketing! And once you get your website/blog and a well planned marketing campaign in place, your efforts will bring in sales 24hrs per day, 7 days per week, for a long time.
But as I mentioned earlier there is a huge learning curve, and many people give up within the first few weeks or month. There are thousands of training materials, e-books, videos, webinars and websites online that promise to help you learn how to make money online. Don't do it! Many of the opportunities that you'll find look very appealing, and may be very good – but you have to learn how to sell it first. Don't put the "cart before the donkey." You may find the best opportunity in the world but won't make a dime if you don't know how to find good keywords that people are searching for but have low competition... and if you don't know how to build a good campaign once you find some great keywords.
So the first step is training, training, training. But don't spend tons of money on outdated training material. I am a student of an Internet Marketing University that teaches you all you need to know and provides all the tools you'll need, to be successful in this industry. After all, if you're starting a new career after kids, and thinking of a career working at home, it makes sense to train for that career at home as well. That's the place to start!
