Internet Marketing Motivation - 3 Songs to Listen to

Do you get frustrated sometimes when you are working on internet marketing and the day seems to last forever while you are stuck in your daily tasks? There are days when I feel I need more motivation to keep working because internet marketing is not something that will succeed overnight. It takes a lot of hard work, deliberate actions and repetition before you see your first dime. How do you motivate yourself when a day seems particularly slow?

I decided that listening to music helps me to forget the frustrations and sometimes the anger I feel at getting nowhere quick enough. It isn't easy to stay optimistic all the time! These are 3 songs that help motivate me when I am working on internet marketing.

1. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (Bon Jovi)

I know, this is a really old song but it helped to keep me working even when I feel tired. The chorus is what rings true for me anyway. This is an excerpt of the song:

"Until I'm 6 feet under, Baby I don't need a bed, Gonna live while I'm alive, I'll sleep when I'm dead, Till they roll me over, And lay my bones to rest, Gonna live while I'm alive, I'll sleep when I'm dead"

Many of us work hard but there are also those who tend to procrastinate. If you are still able and energetic, you need to stop procrastinating and stop thinking about being tired. This is the time to strive for our dreams and what better time to do it when you're young and have lots of untapped ideas and energy. In other words, you should work while you can and think about resting when you are old and ready to retire.

While I'm still breathing, I'm going to do all I can to achieve my goals (succeed in my internet marketing effort) even if it means taking a long time to do it. I will have enough time to rest when I leave this place.

2. Remember the Name (Fort Minor)

"This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, Fifteen percent concentrated power of will, Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain, And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!"

Aren't the above the ingredients of every accomplishment achieved by every successful person? I agree that to succeed, you don't need to be a genius or be certified to do it. Pain means a lot of hard work and overcoming all obstacles to reach your goal. Internet marketing is still the road less taken because it takes a lot of work and time to make it work. For me pain means stress and facing the uncertainty of success of failure.

However, determination and willingness to take action every day are crucial to help me overcome doubts little by little. Pain is something everyone has to face in all aspects of life and is certainly something every internet marketer faces when starting out.

3. Defying Gravity (Wicked)

This is a really good source of positive energy and inspiration. This song is something everyone needs to listen to as motivation to keep working on their own business.

"Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly! And if I'm flying solo, At least I'm flying free, To those who'd ground me, Take a message back from me, Tell them how I am, Defying gravity"

I get a lot of odd looks from people when I told them I'm trying my hand at internet marketing. Most people think it's impossible to make it a steady source of income and think it's crazy not to have a regular 9-5 job slaving for other people and making profit for them.

I have a stronger desire to succeed because most people tell me it's impossible and it's crazy to not have a 'proper' job that pays monthly. Sometimes, doubts about myself do creep in and I always tell myself that if I can make this work, I can prove to people that I'm not crazy nor have 'impossible dreams'. In other words, I'd like to say I can 'defy gravity' too!

What are the methods that you use daily to keep yourself optimistic and motivated while working on your internet marketing business?
