Is there really such a thing as online jobs? Is it possible to make a living as you work from home? Well yes, on both accounts. The trick to achieving either of these is to research and educate yourself before venturing into an online job. Working from home brings with a lot of different pitfalls which should be avoided at all costs. These pitfalls are usually termed as 'scams' and there is a fair few of them out there - believe me!

I also dreamed of working with online jobs and the idea of working from home excited me no end. Unfortunately I was a little too excited and I fell for two main scams. I can't really explain the feeling of realizing you have been scammed and have lost money ( especially when you invested it in your future work plan ). Looking back, I had to go through the scams to learn my lesson the hard way - to work from home is a hard learning curve.

What I did next was to do a bit of research on the smaller scale online jobs which tended to pay less. Even though they paid less they were legitimate and if I decided to invest anything into them I knew my money would be safe. To term a job an 'online job' is a bit far fetched really, I say this because you need more than one string to your bow when it comes to earning a decent amount online. I would advise you to chose a few 'work from home' niches that suit you and you enjoy and combine them to earn a weekly wage.

My first online jobs was a combination of paid survey sites and PTC or 'paid to click' sites. I'm not saying I was loading up the earnings every week by doing this but I was earning through honest work from home schemes. Before long I realized that I was only earning the same amount as a part time job would - I needed to dig a little deeper. I started joining up with PTC forums to discover how I could earn a little more. I was shown how to use 'referral sites' ( PTC sites are included in this ) as online jobs to work from home.

Sites that use referral systems teach you the basics of internet marketing ( affiliate marketing ) and once I started I never looked back. These days I can honestly say I work from home full time and I enjoy every minute of it. Looking back those two occasions I got scammed I realize it was all part of my learning curve. Online jobs are out there but be careful - do your research first.
