Overcoming The Fear Of Failure At Internet Marketing

Everyone wants to succeed at internet marketing but not everyone will. Why? Fear of failure is the most common reason why many people fail at internet marketing even before they start. The thing is, no one is perfect and everyone including those who have succeeded, have a fear of failing. The difference between those who have succeeded and those who have failed is how to use that fear.

Those who have failed let fear take over and paralyze them from taking the steps that will lead them to eventual positive results. Those who have succeeded turned fear into a positive force and use that as motivation and energy to pursue their goals at all costs. Fear of failure can come in the form of doubts, negative worries, pessimist opinions by other people and worry about outcome that hasn't been proven true.

Nobody can guarantee that you will achieve success from your very first attempt at internet marketing. Being successful takes many attempts, trials and errors and many times of overcoming your fear to achieve. Many people struggle with overcoming the fear of failure part - I do too. We are human beings and that's completely normal. I overcome the fear of failure by accepting that failing now does not mean I will be a failure forever. It also means that by failing, at least I have taken action but the action was not good enough. Now I can move on by trying another course of action or improving the previous method. The good thing is failing makes you wiser and more confident as time passes.

Just like fear of anything else, the more you face your fear, the more comfortable you will be at accepting challenges and become 'immune' to failing. This will greatly improve your ability to overcome obstacles and eventually make you become so unafraid of failure that you can do anything and everything to find solutions to your problems on your way to build a successful internet business.

Just imagine at all the positive things that will come your way with your success. Let those thoughts override your fear of failure. Let the possible positive results be the motivation to overcome your fear of failure. It is difficult to overcome the fear of failure if you keep thinking of negative thoughts and having doubts about yourself. Surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you and successful people who are willing to share their knowledge. Their drive to succeed and positive mindset will rub off on you and influence you to be successful too.

For those of you who are so afraid of failure that you have not started, I advise you to start by taking tiny baby steps. Don't let fear of failure prevent you from even taking the first step at creating your internet marketing empire. Remember, time does not wait for anyone. You can start by creating a website and even if you have to pay a small amount to start your internet marketing business, it is money well spent. You can always make more money but you can never recreate time lost and wasted. So, overcome your fear and don't waste anymore time by taking your first action now!

F.E.A.R. False Expectations Appearing Real. I think people have to want it enough to be consistent even when the return isn't obviously there. People need to remember it's a big learning curve (as with any profession) and the best 'schemes' are not the get rich quick ones. Thanks for your article!

You're right! But to want it enough means having to let go of all the fears. It is SOOO tough at many points in our lives to totally let go. When some situations arise, there can be a point where you either choose to quit, or continue regardless of outcome. It is difficult no doubt but I truly believe anyone can succeed if they really take the time to learn and do it consistently. Thanks Heather!
