If you are looking for what Wealthy Affiliate (WA)is all about, you would need to read till the end of this article. I am going to share some of the things that I have discovered and researched on Wealthy Affiliate exposed.
My first encounter with WA was when I wanted to fill up my free time to build an internet based business. Being an engineer by trait, it was embedded in me to do deep research of a specific item until I am satisfied with the facts in hand before making a decision. I came across alot of product sales pitch, people who identify themselves as gurus and nonsense automated/ autopilot system. I am a firm believer that all the automated system wouldn't work so I avoided those kind of programs.
I have a certain criteria that the program needs to provide before I even start their trial period. My 3 criteria were:
1. It should have a mentor/ facilitator whom I can contact whenever I have something to ask.
2. It should have a forum/ community helping each other out.
3. It should have a tracking mechanism that could track my progress within the program.
I was intrigued to check out WA on my first encounter because of the title. It was "Wealthy Affiliate University". Being accustomed to a structured was of learning. The word university really interests me. I then began my research on WA, whether it is just a scam, a get rich scheme or just another ordinary type of program. I tried to find the dark side of WA but couldn't found any. All my research is showing that this program is legit. I decided to try the WA starter pack which doesn't cost you a penny for an unlimited time.
After 2 weeks of trial, this is what I've experienced:
Plus Points
1. It has a step by step course on Online Entrepreneur Certification. To name a few, within this course they teach you:
- How to choose a niche
- How to do key word research
- How to setup your website
- How to make your site optimized for the search engines
2. The founder (Kyle and Carson) are most of the time are online to guide you with your progress
3. They have a tracking system to track your progress
4. They have a community that is supportive
5. They have a huge lists of training to choose from including videos
Minus points
Overwhelming. With the huge list of training available and influx of information. You simply don't know where to start. But luckily they wouldn't leave you high and dry. They strongly advise that you start with Online Entrepreneur Certification and progress from there.
I must admit that WA offers more than I expected. It meets all my initial criteria:
1. Mentor (checked)
2. Helpful community (checked)
3. Progress tracking mechanism (checked)
And the great thing is that the starter pack would cost you nothing.
My verdict on WA
It is an honest program with great value if you are looking of an online internet marketing module.
