Affiliate marketing does not take much money to start, which makes it great for the person wanting a new career, but can facilitate a lot of income through time and effort. Affiliate marketing does not cost a tremendous amount of money. At the least your will want your own domain name and website hosting. Depending on the provider, it may cost around $12 annually for a domain (i.e., the name of your website), and $5 monthly for your hosting (where the server for your website "stores" the website's disk storage). The bare minimum is doable for nearly every person. This should be the extremely easy part.

The little bit harder part is getting the information to be a good internet marketer. There is an awful lot of information on the internet about how to become a good internet marketer. There is also an awful lot of information on the internet about buying people's product of how to be successful at internet marketing. For the beginner, I would be very wary about that information because much of it is consists of relatively bad products that may or may not work. I would wait to experiment with paid products until you are having success from your marking, and then look into accelerating your empire. Stick with the basics first.
