The title is more of a command than a title, don’t you think? Why do I say this? It’s because I know you’re reading this because you’re either just beginning, which is good, or you’re not a beginner and you haven’t made much money on the Internet. I’m going to show you how to make a difference in your situation by writing articles. I won’t focus on the “how” so much, but on the encouragement to make you want to do more, much more, than you’re already doing. You see, if you have any hope at all of making money with article writing you have to understand one simple rule. Consistency is the key to success on the Internet. Period. I’ve written about this before and it’s something that all Internet marketers must come to understand and make it a hard and fast rule that can’t ever be broken. If you slow down, you’re done. Plain and simple.
The effort that it takes to write 60 articles per month is definitely worth your time because of the eventual return on your investment. The extra traffic you will receive by virtue of the amount of information that you are providing to the Internet community will only serve you well in the long term. Getting massive traffic in the beginning from article writing probably won’t happen, and it shouldn’t be your goal anyway. Instead, keep up with your writing and keep it interesting and informative and you will eventually become regarded as an expert in your field, or fields, and the traffic will come. The quality of your traffic will also be very, very, good. This is because it will be laser targeted and from people who are most likely at the verge of buying from you!
Article marketing isn’t regarded as a source of massive traffic that will come to your site with their wallets open and ready to buy from you on the slightest impulse. Article marketing is a technique to use to build a steady stream of traffic to your site that builds over time. After all, isn’t that what you really want?
Think of this. Once you have your articles out there being read by a lot of interested people, these people will remember you and your offering and will come back to you time and again over the years for your input, advice, and instruction. What does this mean for you? Sales, sales, and more sales. If you’re consistent (there’s that word again!), that’s what will happen.
So, just how do you get yourself to write 60 articles per month? I have to say it just one more time: Consistency! Let’s break this number down, shall we? There’s 30 days in a month, and writing just two articles a day will get you there. You should spend some of that time researching, then plan for a “writing day.” A day where you can spend all of your time just writing, AFTER you have done your research.
Let’s say it’s a weekend and you’ve done your due diligence by researching and preparing all week. You’ll have 15 articles to write – can you handle that in one day? If not, break up your writing into 2 days a week – again, after your research is finished. Or, if it’s better for you to research and write daily, that’s great. In fact, you will become better and faster at researching and writing if you make this a daily routine. That’s what I try to do. If I can’t, then I make sure I get back on track the very next day. It works for me; find what works for you and don’t stop! Write 60 articles per month!
