Pretty French Words-The Words Of Love In A Beautiful Language

Why do you want to learn pretty French words? Do you have to learn to speak the language, learning all of the grammar rules or can you simply pick and choose the most beautiful words and phrases to sprinkle into your conversation? You might be shocked by how easy the words will fit into your vocabulary once you learn a few of them. And, there are a few of those pretty French words that actually mean something quite shocking which can come in handy if you are stuck in a boring meeting with your boss one fine day.

The pretty French words that are most often the first to be learned are those that can be used for those who are speaking to their lover. Nothing is more romantic than those who can coo a well placed French phrase at the perfect time, whether they hit the right accent or not. After all, if your loved one whispers some romantic thing or another softly into your ear, followed by a heart felt declaration of love, is that really a time for a trip to French class?

You might also choose to use pretty French words when you are speaking to a small child or an infant. Babies don’t care what you are saying, it is the comforting rhythm of your voice, the warmth of your body and the reassuring thump, thump, thump of your heart beneath their delicate, seashell ear that they are responding to. Who better to learn and practice those pretty French words than to the little one, sleepily watching your mouth before nodding off, dreaming whatever enchanting thoughts wander through his angel soft head?

Imagine those same pretty French words when that child is a little older, spoken with a lilting, child’s voice. Children are very open to new languages and can pick up on new phrases faster now than they ever will in their entire lifetime. If you want your child to learn a second language, try teaching them while they are still very young. You can learn the same words but don’t be shocked if your child’s retention is much faster than yours is, that is just the way the brain works.

It is easier to learn the pretty French words than to learn anything else. You don’t have to learn the whole language, even if you are traveling to France. Learn a few, key words, and take the time to learn the real pronunciation and you will find your hosts more amenable to helping you out. Butcher the pretty French words and you might get treated with a little bit of the old, cold shoulder.

What pretty French words do you want to learn? There might not be any limit to those that you are interested in once you get started. Start by learning your name- you might be shocked by how lovely the name you grew up with, maybe even hated in your youth is in a new tongue.
