How do you make your expenses generate income? Stick with your list building and what's connected with your list building!
How?
When you're going online to build your list, you're putting yourself in a slippery spot.
Why?
Information overload can lead down the slippery slope of buying stuff now that you can delay while you build your list.
When do you figure that out?
Usually too late.
Who says?
I do! I'm a fellow traveler. I'm writing so you can skip a bump I fell over.
Where do you focus in the information overload that is the Internet?
(1) Creating your online presence.
You'll learn as you do.
(2) Demonstrating your credibility.
You'll pour what you know from your heart and do while you learn.
(3) Being kind to yourself.
You'll recognize soon enough you're climbing a steep learning curve.
How do you focus so that you effectively unleash the power of the Internet?
(1) Recognize you are learning while drinking from an Internet fire hose -- and that is plenty.
Allow yourself to put blinders on! Simply pick one thing to do right now.
(2) Recognize you are busy.
Cut yourself off from outside influences! Flat out do whatever one thing you choose to do.
(3) Recognize you are in a time you must, "Do!"
Keep on keeping on. Slide and crawl one tiny bit at a time through your learning curve.
Don't let go of your one learning curve. No taking tempting turnoffs to start something else until you complete your one thing.
(4) Recognize you are in need of a mentor.
Find one real live human being you can turn to for mentoring:
(a) Someone you like.
(b) Someone you trust
(c) Someone you feel okay about developing a mentor mentee relationship with
(d) Someone you believe can help you through whatever you've chosen for your one first thing.
(5) Recognize you are able to refuse to participate in information overload!
Hey, if you don't need "it" right now for this one thing you're doing, whatever "it" may be? File it! Delete it!
Turn your head away! No matter how tempting "it" is! No matter how interesting...
(6) Recognize you are dilly dallying if you go starting over and over!
Yes you'll learn that way. But at a big cost in terms of time to cash flow.
Learning what you need for your one thing is sufficient for today. Do one thing today.
Pick something. Do it.
When you're done? Use it, file it or throw it away.
The fact that you learned all the way through is what is important. That you stuck to one thing and did it.
You accomplished something. You learned along the way.
Focus your time. Watch your cash flow situation.
There's simply too many interesting and exciting things to choose from on the Internet. Way too many!
Your pockets may be deep. Yet life has an infinite supply of surprises.
Be:
(1) Focused on list building.
(2) Preparing for list building.
(3) Doing the right stuff for one thing you choose that's connected with your list building.
You'll find yourself learning how to make your expenses generate income. Profit's important. How you use your time and your cash flow in your journey to profit are your critical path.
Very informative article. I like your emphasis on just getting started and learning from the process.

Don't you sleep? Its midnight there by you yet you answer a comment so quickly.
Thanks. I do tend to answer whenever I'm on email, Rob. Lots of times I work offline. So I guess I'm a bit unpredictable right now! My insides are, too. No point tossing and turning. blessings, Cynthia
