Network marketing is a business model with low overhead cost (Cost to run the business), No employees, and you can do it part time or full time. The same can be said for affiliate marketing, however the major difference between the two is that as an affiliate marketer you are selling other peoples products and as a network marketer you are selling your own.

To become a network marketer you have to be sponsored into a network marketing company through an existing IBO (independent business owner) which would then be your "upline" if sponsored. However you have to pay a fee to join (varies depending on the company). Once you join the company you become an IBO and gain the right to sell the companies products and/or services as your own for a commission as well as sponsor other people into the company which would then be your "downline". In network marketing, you profit off of everything your downline sells without cutting into their profit. It's an interesting and very profitable business model.

To become an affiliate marketer you simply have to apply for a companies affiliate program and once you become an affiliate you sell their products and earn a commission. You don't need a website to do affiliate marketing but it is highly recommended. You can become an affiliate marketer for free.

Amway is a company that has been around for 50+ year and is a leader in the network marketing industry, they generate billions of dollars every year in revenue. I would highly suggest you take a look at what Amway has to offer if you are interested in network marketing. But not just Amway, there are many many network marketing companies out there to choose from each one of them great in their own right, do thorough research before making a decision.

Wealthy Affiliate is an online community of Entrepreneurs who are involved in affiliate marketing. When you join Wealthy Affiliate you will learn how to set up a free website, drive traffic to your site, convert traffic to sales, and master social engagement. But that is not all however. As a wealthy affiliate you have access to all the knowledge you need about running an online business. There is a plethora of training and info for you to take in and there is new stuff being added everyday.

The members of the community are friendly, helpful, respectful, and encouraging and are interested in your success as much as your own. If you join wealthy affiliate and put in the time, effort, and persistence without a doubt you will become successful. But don't take my word for it see for yourself.
