By having many many years in selling online and setting up a variety of online companies I have a lot of knowledge, experience and techniques that can help you succeed. It's not easy, but it can be through my trial and error.
1. Facebook- is a great place to market, brand and sell products. They have updated their system and it now allows customers to purchase products directly through a company's Facebook account. It is easily accessible and even easier to navigate. It is also free to have an account, as well as anyone can open an account. Facebook is also a great place to "post status" that will directly reach the public of new products that may have just been released or for sale. It is also the fastest way to keep in contact with the customer directly, while promoting your website.
2. Linkedin- is another great tool to market your online business. It allows to directly link with other people who may be in the same industry as you as well as making connections for your company. It also gets the word out their about your company, the history behind it as well as providing navigation to your site.
3. Ebay- Everyone knows about Ebay, unless your not from this planet. eBay is a very large database of people selling products from all over the world. The competition is stiff as well as the fees, however it is a great place to start for someone who is just learning the online business. It also allows you as the company owner to sell products on eBay before starting a website and enduring all those fees, you should first see how well those products do on eBay before you plan on making it a full time business. Are your products in demand? Is it worth the price you pay for them? eBay is a wonderful market place to begin with.
4. Amazon- is another very large market place. I prefer amazon over ebay, their fees are a lot lower, the database is a lot larger and most of the time they already have your products in their database and there is no need to waste time taking the photos and uploading to the site. Its very easy to set up, navigate and Amazon pretty much does the hard work for you. Amazon in my opinion is the best site you can use to sell your products and begin to market your company.
Advice:
*Always make sure to satisfy the customer, the customer comes first before your money! that means if the customer is not satisfied with their purchase then go out of your way to refund them. It may be annoying sometimes and the customer may be exaggerating however one negative feedback can restrict an average of 50 customers you could have had. Always try to please the customer! They come first.
