5 Misconceptions Among Beginners Of BJJ

Since Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has become worldly famous in the field of martial arts, there are lots of discussions about it. In those discussions, some misconceptions have also been made. The five top misconceptions are given as follows. You must read them and try to avoid doing any such mistakes.

The very first misconception especially in Bjj is that you must have a shape to start your training. It is not the case in Bjj because you join beginner programs to get you in shape. You get your shape after spending some time in your beginning training courses. So, if you don’t have a shape like people have in Bjj, you don’t need to be worried in this regard. You better join a beginner only school and design your shape.

The second misconception is that you should be a professional fighter to join Bjj. This is also not the case. Anyone can join this art to make his shape and to learn martial art skills. So, you better not listen to anyone and just buy a Bjj Gi for you to start. You can also design a custom Bjj Gi for you.

Also, you certainly don’t need to have the right training equipment with you. You just need to have a normal Bjj Gi to join the school where you will get all the required training equipments and skilled and quailed instructors.

You better not see only the school fee before joining. It is not that the cheapest one is the most right one. What you need to look is the quality. You better look skills and experiences of the instructors there along with the condition of training equipment. Then, you can think about the fee. But, the lowest price should not be your priority.

When it comes to fee, you should also not take the exact fee on phone from the school you are intending to join for training. You should visit the school and see everything by yourself. Then, you should define your case to the instructors there what actually your requirements are. It is because that the fee may vary from person to person. They will set your fee according to your requirements.

So, if you are planning to join any Bjj training school for beginners, just buy a custom Bjj Gi for you and join the school. But, you better keep all these misconceptions in your mind so that you do not perform any such mistakes in your beginning. Best of Luck!
