Did you know that a sexy set of mens abs was rated the #1 best feature on a man? I'm sure if you are anything like me that you have spent many a days wondering how in the world do I stomp my stomach fat on the curb and get the lean sexy abs that will have everyone drooling. I found myself asking questions like these. Do genetics really matter? Do I have to waste countless dollars on bogus supplements? Do the models endorsing products on tv really use those products? Most importantly, CAN I REALLY DO IT? Needless to say, I know exactly how you feel since I have felt the exact same way. Here is what I found out, I know this information will help you since we are so much a like. It's obvious if you find yourself reading this that you want to add more value to health and fitness in your life, so apply what I am going to talk about.
The supplement companies NEED us to stay fat and out of shape so we keep buying their products month in and month out while we watch our bank accounts diminish and our bodies staying stagnant. Now, not to say that there aren't some good products out there that we should be taking, but a vast majority of supplements actually harm us rather than help us. One thing I was never willing to do was take illegal supplements or any type of growth hormone. Getting a ripped set of mens abs just wasn't worth the risk of internal destruction that these products will cause.
We both know that there are plenty of people who DO and DO NOT use steroids or illegal supplements to better their physique and I am not judging because that is a personal choice. Does it not raise your eyebrow that in the United States alone $33 billion dollars a year are spent on supplements, yet as a country the United States is largely out of shape? I thought that was pretty disgusting.
Do genetics really matter? In my opinion from the research I have done and from personal experience it's a little of both. Yes and no per say. Each individual has a "unique" physique and muscle density underneath what fat we have. The less amount of fat we have the more we notice certain features. If I am 5' 5" and weigh a healthy 155lbs, I am probably not going to look like a 6'6" 250lbs NFL linebacker, however I am going to look awesome for my body type. So what I am getting at is that, each of us can truly maximize what each of our potential may be in terms of a physical being. However, I recommend not trying to compare ourselves to other people, because the truth of the matter is that they are the best they can be and we can only be the best we can be, not both.
When you take the steps to get in the shape you want to be in, be happy, thankful, and in love with the body that you were given. We all know plenty of people "in shape" who still aren't happy with their body, so start being happy right now with what you have because there is someone out there who has seen you that would trade places with you in a minute!
Can you REALLY get in amazing shape? I believe, YES! It takes hard work, dedication, persistence and passion to do so. Start taking yourself more serious. We all have the ability to get what we want in life, no matter what it is. Ask yourself, what do I take serious in my life? Do you take your job serious? Do you take helping others serious? Do you take your wife serious? Do you take your kids serious? Are you trying to add value to all the above mentioned? Heck yes! We all do! So why not apply the same plan to getting ourselves in tip top shape?
If we wake up every morning at 6am to drink coffee and eat donuts while watching tv we can sure as heck wake up at 6am eat healthy and go work out. All that matters is what you BELIEVE is possible. There is no difference between the two above mentioned scenearios. At this point, it's black and white. Either do it or don't do it. You and I both know that if you don't do it, you are going to find yourself at some point asking "what if?" There is nothing worse than having to ask ourselves that. I hate to sound cliche, but like Nike says it, "just do it!" Take action. You will create a feeling of worthiness and success doing so. I found these helpful tips on mens abs.
