We all heard research studies about decreasing memory as we age or Alzheimer’s disease. Pretty scary stuff if you ask me. I'm sure some of you knew someone, a friend or a relative, who had to deal with some form of memory loss as they were growing old. There are ways to slow down the aging process of the brain. Of course there is physical activity but there is also mental activity. I'm here today to talk about mental activity. In my opinion, playing memory online games is the best way to keep or improve your memory.

Researchers have found that people who keep their brain active by playing puzzle games or other games that stimulate the brain can delay onset of memory disease like Alzheimer's. People who spend time exercising their mind with a puzzle game on a consistent basis generally maintain their mental faculties longer than those who do not play such brain games. Doctors are now very aware of those facts and patients can expect to see more and more memory and puzzle games as prevention and maybe even treatment.

I know what some of you will say. A Lot of obese people are told by their doctor to exercise and eat healthier to lose weight and most of them don't do it. So why people who are told to play brain games would do it. The keyword here is PLAY. Many people don't like or even hate physical exercise but playing a game is fun so I think more people will listen to the doctor and play memory online games regularly.

Now let's talk about the "online" part of the memory online games. The first reason to play online is that there is a greater variety of games to choose from. The second reason is that you can change the difficulty of a online game as you become better. You can't do that with a board game.

There so much memory online games to choose from on the internet. You can choose from musical memory games, numbers memory games, games with picture etc. The most important thing to remember when playing a memory online games is play a game that you like. You are more likely to play the game regularly if you like it.

I hope you know now a little bit more about memory online games what they can do to help you or anyone you know. Now let's have some fun and play. Our memory will only get better.
