It is such a blessing to see someone or yourself touch people's lives. It is no different when it comes to Heartmade Blessings. Creating and giving away afghans to fallen solidiers family, I am sure theses families hearts were warmed.

Even with something such as poetry, though it has nothing to do with crochet, to me it is still consider as art and I have had a few people tell me how much my poetic words touched them. So, when giving people work hard to crochet beautiful blankets and afghans to give to our fellow soldier families in Canada and United States, I know they are very much appreciated and are also touched.

So, what is Heartmade Blessings anyway?

Started in arch 2001, Heartmade Blessings is a group of volunteers world that are dedicated and inspired to provide and create hand made craft items to people who lost a loved one and are going through a tuff time. These people are reminded that there are people who care.

Heartmade Blessings make and donate afghans and bearghans to United States and Candian families that have lost their loved one in the war. These are people from all over the world doing this wonderful thing.

Mot knowing what it become of when the unforgettable 9/11 happened, Heartmade Blessings gave 346 afghans to the greiving families who lost their loved ones in World Trade Center, on the plane and at the Pentagon.

When the fellow soldier Rudy Acosta passed away, people such as Devol started getting to work. I guess it is not rare to find people such as her creating 50 squares to these sad families. Along with the blankets, two of the squares, both purple and black will be given to the Acosta family.

Being that purple is so exotic, I'm sure the Acosta family felt a lil better with their free gift from this great and wonderful organization and the people in it.

If you are one of those people that are just getting started with crochet and are wondering how you can you create a afghan to donate to these mourning families and sufferig individuals, it is not hard.

When stuff like this occur, a lot of interested people do not know how to go about helping out and most often, there is hardly any great information on how to get started as a Heartmade Blessing crafter.

Find out more about afghans Heartmade Blessings and how you can donate afghans to fallen soldiers as a member of Heartmade Blessings.
