6 Health Resolutions For 2014

If you are health conscious, one or two health related points should be included in your new year’s health resolutions. New year’s beginning is the time to plan about your health, fitness and wellness for the next 365 days. Your healthy living must get better with the passing of every new year.

Vegetables & Fruits: We know that fresh vegetables and fruits contain plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. But we don’t eat them regularly. Eating healthy vegetables and fruits should be part of your health resolutions 2014. Along with dry fruits, eat other different fruits and seasonal fruits, too. Fruit juice is a healthy beverage. Also, you have deficiency in certain vitamins, please eat green foods containing the vitamins. Alternatively, you can go for vitamin supplements to cover any vitamin deficiency.

Sound sleep necessary: Plan for a better sleeping resolution in the New Year. If you have a habit of sleeping at different times then try to regulate it. Make the sleeping environment comfortable. Keep the light away from your room. Avoid the caffeinated drinks. Such drinks can take sleep away from you.

Exercise: Revise your workout options in the new year. Yoga, aerobics, gyms - whatever you are in, just check whether you do right kind of exercise. Try to relate your exercise with your goal. If your new year health resolution is to lose 4 kg. of weight, then you should specially do weight loss exercises. Choose the right kind of exercise as per your height, weight, age group and any disease you have. If you have less time, buy some fitness equipments for home from store like Health-Shoppe. Also, don’t do any exercise before sleeping.

Activities: Engaging in outdoor activities can give you benefits of exercise. Regularize walking, jogging, running as your new year’s resolutions. Activities like trekking, swimming, dancing, rock climbing can naturally burn calories. Such activities can refresh your mind, give you positive energy and help you to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Habits: After all these year’s of smoking, you might be thinking of quitting it. But you have not decided when to quit it. New Year health resolution can definitely have quit smoking option. Go slow on quit smoking as quitting it in one day may be tough for you. If you have any other habit which you think as bad for health, then get rid of that in the new year.

Healthy living: Plan step by step about implementing your new year’s health resolutions. Instead of following selective tips from the above, you can eye for a holistic view and make all the tips included in your new year’s health resolutions. Get benefited from smart health resolutions and health products. After all, be it new year or not, your life is all about healthy living.
