Keep the light away from your room. Avoid the caffeinated drinks. Such drinks can take sleep away from you.
Exercise: Revise your workout options in the new year. Yoga, aerobics, gyms - whatever you are in, just check whether you do right kind of exercise. Try to relate your exercise with your goal. If your new year health resolution is to lose 4 kg. of weight, then you should specially do weight loss exercises. Also, don’t do any exercise before sleeping.
Activities: Engaging in outdoor activities can give you benefits of exercise. Regularize walking, jogging, running as your new year’s resolutions. Activities like trekking, swimming, dancing, rock climbing can naturally burn calories. Such activities can refresh your mind, give you positive energy and help you to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Habits: After all these year’s of smoking, you might be thinking of quitting it. But you have not decided when to quit it. New Year health resolution can definitely have quit smoking option. Go slow on quit smoking as quitting it in one day may be tough for you. If you have any other habit which you think as bad for health, then get rid of that in the new year.
