Balance Sacral Chakra

Sacral Chakra

Each of the 7 major energy centers, or chakras, of the body play a huge role in your ability to live a full, satisfying and balanced life. The Sacral Chakra, 2nd Chakra of the body, is fundamental in our ability to express ourselves, experience our creativity and to enjoy relationships with others. It is located just below the belly button and resonates with the color orange and the musical note ‘D’.

Physical and Emotional Connections

The Sacral Chakra governs the following areas of the body; sexual organs, gallbladder, pancreas, middle spine, upper intestines, adrenal glands, liver and stomach. This chakra is the energy center for all things creative, sexual health, relationships and our ability to share our thoughts, feelings and perspectives. It’s also the center for allowing joy, love and good into our lives.

Signs of a Closed Sacral Chakra

If you experience lower back pain, low libido or have sexually related diseases or infections, it may be related to a closed Sacral Chakra. Additionally, the inability to make decisions and experience joy and excitement in life are some emotional signs of having a closed Sacral Chakra. Not wanting to engage sexually with your partner, or allowing sex to control your life, are also signs of an under-active or over-active Sacral Chakra.

Signs of an Opened or Balanced Sacral Chakra

If you experience loving, passionate sex with your partner several times a week, have at least one outlet for your creative expression, and are comfortable receiving and sharing love and joy, your Sacral Chakra is a bright, healthy orange burst! Keep on expressing your creativity and enjoying the relationships you have in your life.

Balance Your Sacral Chakra

In various stages of our lives, our level of openness in the Sacral Chakra will vary. This is why it is an essential part of our overall health to know how to gage where we are so we can incorporate activities into our lives to get our energetic health where it needs to be.

Ways To Balance Your Sacral Chakra

Activities that stimulate the senses such as viewing beautiful art work, eating something tasty and smelling your favorite fragrance are all fun ways of opening up this chakra.

Taking a couple moments out of your day to focus on what you enjoy about the relationships you have in your life and how wonderful it feels to give and receive love from your romantic partner are also easy ways to improve the health of your 2nd Chakra. Wearing orange has a positive impact on this Chakra as well. Speaking of wearing the color orange, Amber and Orange Calcite are orange crystals that have a wonderful energetic vibration that resonates with that of the Sacral Chakra and can be worn to strengthen and open it.
