From age 16 we drive. It’s essential to have a vehicle. For long distances we already have airplanes. So why people still take road trips and spend days driving when they can just take a plane and reach their destination in much shorter time. It’s all about driving spirit. What do you experience when you fly from one part of the country to another? Nothing much, just airports. Driving can take you on a journey. Every day of driving from city to city becomes an adventure, you receive unforgettable experience. Psychologists recommend road trips as therapeutic method for those who went through traumatic experience or for those who feel like life becomes shallow and boring. Change of scenery can do magic. People usually build protective ‘walls’, subconsciously of course, because outside world can be frightening. Some of us, mostly introverts, are ok with it and it’s a choice. But some of us are struggling to do something and change their lifestyle. If you are one of those, it’s time to start living?
We’ve heard the phrase ‘living in the moment’. Sounds easy. How else can we live? We worry about our future. We are constantly stressed out to the point when we stop seeing life around us. This is how we live in the future but not right now. Our past can hold us back, it’s weighing on our shoulders, not giving us a chance to enjoy. Let it go, convince yourself every day that past can’t define you.
