As a brief introduction, subliminal recordings are audio CD's or even MP3s encoded with speech signals, or a recorded voice that is not consciously audible, but is able to be decoded or interpreted by your brain. The idea behind using subliminal audio is that it is a powerful way to program positive habits into our subconscious state and allow us to improve in a host of areas. Subliminal recording has been used successfully in areas like
- weight loss,
- quitting smoking,
- relationship confidence,
- conquering shyness
and just about any other phobia, or area of potential improvement you can think of.
It is well proven that this technology works, and I have used a number of different types of subliminal recordings over the years, including systems like Holosync and technologies like binaural beats to name some. However, as good as the technology is in these various systems, the fact remains that the voice recordings are of someone else and not your own voice. In addition to that, different people interpret some messages differently to each other. An example is that for some people, success might be being happy and for someone else, it might mean greater wealth. Hence, in order to obtain the right context, it is better to record the CD or MP3 with your own script.
In addition to using your own script, you really will know exactly what is being said. Whilst some companies do provide a script with their recordings, not all actually do this. It is extremely important to have a clear understanding of exactly what is being said to you in these recordings. Also, given that you can record your own voice, your subconscious will react better to it than the voice of someone else. This is a normal aspect of listening, given that your brain is used to the timbre of your voice and will react more strongly to a command by it. I realize that for a new person being exposed to subliminal recording technology, it can seem quite a way-out concept, but it has been proven over numerous decades to be very effective.
In addition, whilst I still use some recordings I have made many years ago, my circumstances have changed, which means it is beneficial to be able to alter or remake the recordings with current voice affirmations.
Software does exist to actually create these recordings yourself, using your own computer at home, or the office. In addition, your recording ideas can evolve, to also making videos for self improvement. The technology can be used in many different ways.
