What Does It Really Mean To Be Strong?

Many people have mistaken being strong for being mean. Saying one or two silly things to people and enjoy seeing their brains reacting to it negatively is not being strong. It's unfortunate the truth always have to come out, because the lives of people depend on it, and I am sorry I have to be the one to say the truth to people who think they are mean. Being mean is like an alarm, and this is how the alarm rings when triggered, ''hello, I'm so insecure about myself so I have to say stupid things to others in order to feel better.''

Criticizing someone for their bad behavior does not make you mean. Instead it helps them in those areas they are not very good at. OK, let's drive our boats now to the case study. Being strong means being able of taking mean words from stupid people as I call them without letting them touch your heart, able to control hard times and situations without huge panic, able to fall and get up at any time, keep your adrenaline in a controllable state when angered.

Now, this is how you can achieve being strong. Remember your heart is the one that get the pain, so your ability to protect things from reaching your heart will determine how strong you are or will be. These are all things you have to protect your heart, your bran, arms, legs... Only you have the choice of the impact words or situations play in your life. In the case of a mean word from someone, know that they said that for them to feel better and not for you to feel bad. So you will have the choice to decide whether to feel bad or be normal. Mind you if you decide to feel bad, their joy will be complete, but if you show them that the word did not have any impact to you, they will be disappointed, so you win without saying a single word or fighting back.

In the case of hard times and falling, to be honest this is sometimes hard to put under control since the falling is sometimes so hard and heavy on you. But this is what you need to have in mind, to fall is not a problem; the problem comes when you are satisfied being at that position. And some times try to give yourself a break if the situation is too hard like the lost of a loved one. This will give you some time to hell and generate some vitality to face the challenges out there.

In being strong, it helps when you know yourself or create the person you want to be. In this way you will better know how to control situation knowing where you are able to go forward or where you say ''this is it.''
