What is a Bad Habit?

Bad habits aside from looking bad, you feel bad (at the end), and provoke damage to both your physical and mental health. Also moving further to achieve your goals and create a internal resistance.

Your consent (which wants to leave the bad habit) confronts the subconscious (the boat of your beliefs, where your bad habit resides). And in this discussion between the two parts of the brain, the subconscious mind winning end.

Since it handles most of the vital processes and automatic return to replicate your bad habit but you about willpower.

Is there any way to deal with our subconscious to remove or eliminate these bad behaviors and replace them with good habits?

What causes a bad habit ?

Most bad habits are caused by two things …

Stress and BoredomThe Mother of all vices is leisure

Most of our bad habits like cigarette smoking, nail biting, scratching, television for no reason, o spend excessive time on social networking or frequently drunk are just simple answers, in which our stress or boredom are expressed .

But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can teach yourself new and healthy ways

to deal with stress and boredom, which you can then substitute in place of your

bad habits.

Of course we are aware when we are dealing with stress or boredom. But when our subconscious mind acts against us, it is because triggers are in the depths of your beliefs that manifest the bad habit.

Then for wanting to replace the behavior and understand the root of bad habit, you have to be honest with you and do a deep introspection of your beliefs.

Recognizing the causes of your bad habits is crucial to overcoming them.

All your habits you have now – good or bad – are in your life for a reason.

In some way, these behaviors provide a benefit to you, even if they are

bad for you in other ways.

Sometimes the benefit is to be biological such as smoking cigarettes , drugs . In some cases, your bad habit is an easy way to cope with stress . For example , Biting your nails , pull you hair , touching the foot, or jaw clenching .

Because bad habits provide some type of benefit in your life, it’s very difficult to

simply eliminate them. (This is why simplistic advice like “just stop doing it”

rarely works.) Instead, you need to replace a bad habit with a new habit that

provides a similar benefit.

For example, if you smoke when you get stressed, then it’s a bad plan to “just

stop smoking” when that happens. Instead, you should come up with a

different way to deal with stress and insert that new behavior instead of having

a cigarette.

In other words bad habits orient certain needs , your life . And for that reason , it is best to replace your bad habits with healthier behavior that addresses the same need.
