Answer The Phone When It Rings

I love the new song called "Hall of Fame". While listening to it one day recently, I got thinking about all of the people who choose songs for their ring tones. They choose a song for a ring tone because they like it. When someone calls, however, the person might just want to let the phone ring, rather than answering it. It is great for people to have songs that they love, because sometimes, hearing a favorite song is all that it takes to make a person smile and make his day great. If a person uses a song for a ring tone and then does not answer his phone when it rings, however, it could cause him some problems.

One problem is that family and friends will worry about him if he does not answer his phone. They will then have to try to contact him by email or take a trip to go see him. Email is a convenient way to contact others, but the sender has to wait to hear back from the receiver. The wait can be agonizing if the situation is serious, such as an email from a parent to a child, in which the parent is asking if the child has enough money to pay his rent. If the parent does not hear from his child, he does not know whether his child will continue to have a home or if he will soon be homeless. There are other problems that can come up as well.

Another thing that can happen is that a person can miss out on great opportunities, such as a job interview, if he does not answer his phone. Employers are busy people. If a prospective employee does not answer his phone, the employer will go on to the next person on the list. There are ways to avoid problems like these, of course.

One way is to stick with the ring tone that comes with the phone. The person should learn it and answer the phone when he hears it. He can also get a musical ring tone if he really wants one. He should choose whatever he likes. Then, no matter how tempted he is to sit and listen to it, he needs to answer it--every time. He should save his money and buy the CD that features the song. That way, his callers will be happy, he will save everyone some anxiety, and he will have some music to listen to whenever he wants to.
