Have you ever felt discouraged , frustrated or both because you felt like you weren't going anywhere in your life? How about feeling "stuck" in the same job ,or worse , more bills than money? Perhaps you've had countless ideas run through your mind and that's all they have been.
You know that you are capable of doing more , but where to start? When am I going to find the time with all of my other responsibilities? It can be overwhelming. The truth is no one said that it would be easy, but what's the alternative? Mediocrity. In my opinion, mediocrity equals death.
We see celebrities on television and think that they must have it so easy, but we don't consider what it took to get to that point. Everyone has a story. For most of us, challenges are a part of life and I dare say, a necessary one , but how many of us embrace challenge? What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. It sounds good, but how many of us believe it? It is easy to feel sorry for our selves when times are difficult. The world is full of talented, driven people yet ,out of 100 percent of the population, how many truly live up to their full potential? Most of us settle.
For many, it is more important to be politically correct than it is to be authentic. How committed are you to your dreams? Do you have one? If so, is it yours or was it decided for you by someone else? The personal development industry thrives on the fact that most people live their lives each day with blinders on. Many of us are not even aware of how capable they truly are? Historically, human beings are resilient , adaptable and have overcome all types of perceivably insurmountable odds. They didn't give up.
It doesn't have to take a major challenge or traumatic experience to dig deep within ourselves to realize how truly capable and powerful we are. We don't have to live lives of quiet desperation. I decided that even if by the end of my life, I didn't accomplish the goals that I had set for myself, no one will ever be able to accuse me of not trying. I find satisfaction in that reasoning. I refuse to quit and ,in my opinion, neither should you. What is the alternative? Living the rest of my life both unhappy and unfulfilled because I was too much of a coward to live life on my own terms.
Regardless of the situation that you were born into or the circumstances that occurred in order for your to get here it wasn't an accident. This fact includes every person that has ever walked this earth or ever will. I encourage you to own that fact. We don't always know the details nor the unique combination of talents that we possess. In many cases , these strengths have to be both identified and developed. Nevertheless, they are there and there is no one else on this planet that is as "equipped" as you are for the unique task that is before you.
Your unique purpose for being here is directly tied into your personal welfare on all levels( Personally,Professionally,Financially,Spiritually, etc). It is the key to your happiness. I dare say that there is nothing else more important than that discovery. If it takes the rest of your life to find it, it's worth it. Never give up.
