The Quick Way To Find Motivational Work Out Songs

When you're working out do you find that you have tons of energy at the beginning and then begin to slack off towards the end? Well hopefully after you've finished reading this you'll have found a way to keep the momentum up throughout your entire workout so you give 110% from start to finish. I like motivational work out songs to listen to and I'll tell you why it helps me.

When listening to certain types of music, or specific songs, it gets my blood pumping and makes me want to jump around like a crazy man. So when I'm listening to these songs whilst I'm working out, I channel that "jump around like a mad man" energy into my sets and repetitions.

People already think I'm a little crazy, so why not channel that into getting a fantastic workout!

Personally, I find something with a deep catchy beat or some heavily distorted guitar riffs works well for me to get that little extra juice out of my muscles to force out those money making reps and sets. Find something that gets your feet tapping or your heat bopping and really get into the song just as your about to start your set. Hopefully it'll help you perform an awesome set.

If there is anything that gets me going is some heavy bass dance or a bit of rock. At the moment some of my favourite bands/artists to listen to are Black Stone Cherry (a southern US rock band) and the current hit the world is loving, Gangnam style by Psy. I know some people hate this song, but I find cheesy music with a good music works for me.

Find what songs that works for you and create your own workout playlist. I have a few favourites on my playlist and it gets me through my work outs.

The best time I find to use this technique, if that's what you can call it, is when I'm not feeling any motivation to work out at all, or it's going to be a particularly tough session. A good playlist that's an hour/hour and a half should be enough to get you through a normal gym session.

Now it's time for you to do something. If you have an iPod, spend the next 20-30mins flicking through your songs and "Add to Playlist" anything that you thinks catchy or you find yourself dancing to. If you don't have this, write down some of your favourite songs to add to your MP3 player. A playlist of your best motivational songs for working out will keep your energy and effort consistent from start to finish.

Grab yourself a pair of in-ear headphones. They're excellent for blocking out background noise.
