So, I am assuming that you are looking for an honest Tate music group review, right? Well, let me just point you in the right direction and tell you all about Tate music group artists.

My question is for you is this, "what have you heard about this recording company"? To be real, I have heard both good and bad things about them, but mind you I have my own opioion based on what I have experienced lately.

Ok, here is the situation. I know one talented christian artist name Rahn Anthoni that is currently working with Tate Music Group. And my cousin Asekor Glay use to work with Tate Music Group. Each person has their perception and own experience with this music publishing company.

Let me start off with my cousin Asekor Glay. He is extremely gifted and he makes good songs. But, personally, he is not as good as Rahn Anthoni, simply because he sings in his nose. He was working with Tate Music Group for about 2 or 3 years and he claimed that they were doing nothing to push his music to the world. Plus he paid too much money for a poor job done and he was not famous.

Now, let us take christian artist Rahn Anthony for insstance. He has working for some time now and still is. I mean, I love Rahn Anthony's voice in real life and he is truly a powerful performer. He recently had a cd release party for this new gospel album "Man on a Mission", produced by Tate Music Group and his entire cd production is the bomb. The cover of the cd is on point and a barcode. His cd really looks professional.

I do not know if Tate Music Group is a scam, but being that Rahn Anthoni is a close friend of mine and he is dealing with Tate Music Group and his cd is on point, I am assuming that they are not a scam.

You see, Asekor Glay says that Tate Music Group is a scam, but Rahn Anthoni is having success with them. Truth is, when it comes to business, not everyone will be satisfied, but that doesn't mean that company is not good.

Being that I know how my cousin is, he is very impatient. He loves to sing, but I'm unaware of his networking capabilities.

With Rahn Anthoni, he is very patient, knows how to network, and sings to heal souls. Two people that dealt with the same company with different results. Who knows, maybe Tate Music Group stepped their game up after dealing with my cousin Asekor Glay.

My son sent some of my songs and recordings to Tate and they sent me a contract. I had a couple songs signed with a publishing company several years ago and nothing came of it. I insisted on a reversion clause and retained the rights to my songs after 2 years. The contract I received did not ask for any money from me. It stated that I was to supply them with the tracks, art work, and social media page and that they do offer these services if I would like to use them. I sent my own tracks and was told they would do my artwork for $200 and remaster my tracks for free. There was no mention of this $2000 I read reviews about. Are there different contracts for people they feel they may make money on?

My name is jennifer stringer, and I was recently contacted by Tate music group. I have a passion for singing gospel, but some people are telling me not to send them any money because it is a scam, and that if they are interested in me then why should I have to pay 1800. I want to follow my heart and send the money but at the same time I don't want to be ripped off either. I have 3 children and to me that's a lot of money. Are they truly real or is this a waste, because I was just going to make a trip for myself just to see before I dish out any money.

We visited Tate Music Group on yesterday, November 16, 2012 and we were greeted by Dr Tate as we sat and waited for Luke J. Dr Tate shared with us how he and his wife began to pursue thier dreams. This is my version and what was perecieved from my point of view, in my mind just the thought of Dr Tate taking the time to share with us will always be a part of how I feel about Tate Music Group. As with any company we must feel comfortable and able to keep an open mind. The music business is filled with many people pursuing their dreams to share their talents with the world but you must first have the passionate for this business and the determination to make your dreams a reality. So with that in my mind, working and building your dreams depends solely on the individual. Believing in yourself and your talent is always the correct way and this makes things easier when you have family, friends and fans that love you and your talent. The artist and the company will need to build a relationship and work together to making a dream come to life. Only you know what is right and I leave you with this, pray, believe and build together the success that God has given to us all. Tate Music Group is a company that I feel can help us reach what God has given us to share with the world. Thank you for showing us that dreams can come true if you work together towards building a successful music ministry. Thank you to all we met in Mustang, Oklahoma our visit was one that we shall forever remember.

I wanted to jump on in here too. My name is Allen Finch and I an the VP for Tate Music Group. Tate Music Group is one of the newest opportunities in the music industry for new and seasoned artists to give their music a better chance at success. While there are some people on here that are saying negative things, I can guarantee you that any artist with TMG gets production, distribution, and publicity that you can't get anywhere else. The music business is a very difficult one and requires a lot of work on the part of the artist. Any music artist that thinks a label will bring them success without hard work is in for a big disappointment. Tate Music Group partners with their artist to make sure you have everything you need in every area to have the best chance at success. In addition, any TMG artist that needs anything all you have to do is contact me personally or even better your assigned marketing representative that facilitates the entire process for you once you music is released. We are always there for our family of artists. I suppose like any industry as difficult to succeed in as this one you can't make everyone happy, but if you are a serious artist and want the best chance possible to succeed we would love to look at your music. If any of you need anything or have questions please feel free to contact me personally too at the office (405) 376-4900. Looking forward to talking with you soon!!! Allen Finch, VP Tate Music Group

Tate music group is a complete scam. We gave them first rate quality masters and they could not even mix them properly. They sounded terrible. We gave the same recording to another company and now were on the radio. Stay far away from TMG please......

I agree 100%. I am a TMG artist and will tell you right now that IF you have a product that you believe in and are passionate about what you are doing and put out 100% effort, as you should be doing anyway, then TMG is going to back you 200%. They have all the connections w/ the best distributor, the best engineers and producers and are willing to work w/ and for you if you are willing to work w/ them in a give and take situation. Besides, many artists think they have all the answers and have it in their heads that they are gonna do it one way...it doesn't work that way. IT TAKES A TEAM...MANY HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE...After all, the quarterback on a football team is not more important than any other member. The complaints I have read against TMG have seemed VERY UNWARRANTED. They seem to come from only those that want something for nothing or NEVER HAD A PRODUCT THAT THEY BELIEVED IN FROM THE GET GO AND THE ARTISTS DID NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL! JUST BECAUSE TMG HAS CONNECTIONS W/ MANY RADIO STATIONS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE GUARANTEED AIRPLAY. Their are artists out there that really should find another profession. Those are the very ones that I will tell you that if you look hard enough and long enough, you will eventually find someone who will take your money....DON"T BLAME TMG FOR YOUR OWN DOWNFALLS. HUMAN NATURE HAS TO BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. THERE ARE 3 SIDES TO EVERY STORY. NOT JUST 2!

I am with Tate Music Group right now and rarely take the time to write reviews, but you are dead on correct Saytue. Tate is only going to put your music out there as much as YOU show them you're doing for yourself. If you don't believe in yourself enough to work on marketing yourself, and booking shows for yourself... why should Tate believe you're taking yourself serious as an artist? You do pay $ at the beginning which honestly is about the same amount it'd cost to record at a professional studio to get a great quality CD... only difference is Tate pays to have your songs copyrighted in YOUR name, they pay for the CD's to be made, put on iTunes, Amazon, & all your major music stores, they pay for your professional photoshoot and all the work it takes to go into your CD. They book you shows (as long as you're booking some yourself too), and they publish your shows in local newspapers. Bottom line is... Tate Music Group isn't a scam, if you're willing to take yourself serious as an artist.

I just read a contract from Tate Music Group sent to my son. I was in the music business and the general rule; "never pay to play" doesn't always apply. The only thing Tate Music Group is asking of my son is $1900 fee that will be refunded once they sell 2500 copies of his CD. For what they apparently do, that's pretty cheap. When you're trying to "break in" the business, you are tempted for fall for a lot of schemes. Tate Music Group seems to be above all that. Their is another service called Taxi where you pay for them to review your submitted songs. I know one of the people that actually listens to the songs. My son and his older brother actually received royalty checks from ASCAP for one of their Taxi submissions that was used on a movie soundtrack. Just be diligent when researching these companies.
