The Truth About the Music Industry

As we all know, the music industry just isn't the same as it used to be.

It used to be a thriving industry that always had something to offer for talent that could hold their own. Now.....Now, it is a desolate wasteland that produces mirages to lead in victims, then leaves them into the sun to starve to death.

There is no such thing as integrity in this business anymore, as everyone has a personal agenda based on aquiring a profit first before turning their musical works to the world that is desperately in need.

There is no compassion left in this desert to help anybody to water, as there is not enough for everyone. It is a greed driven, hypocritical entity that will stop at nothing to enlist millions upon millions of expendable soldiers into its army just to send them on suicide missions.

The advertisements are like a fog that blinds its prey from seeing the exit. We have been in this fog for so long that we don't want to find the exit. We've grown so used to not being able to see the truth, that this fog of false advertisement and hypocrisy seems like a spray of the finest cologne.

Ruthless, are the corporate big wigs that promote violence and drugs to the youth of today. They will stop at nothing until you and your fellow listeners are placed perfectly on they're web of deceit.

Whether you like it or not,you will fall victim to this as the next hit song is played. You will walk around spreading the melody as if it were H1N1, encouraging your friends and family to join you as you unknowingly succomb to this disease.

You work for them, but you don't get paid for it. You offer free work. To spread their songs, promoting the "artists" lifestyle, based on what you know by listening to their best fabricated stories.

You see the videos of the glamorous life. The cars, the clothes, the money. What you don't see is behind the scenes...

Beautiful girls in the bathroom gagging themselves because they were told they exceeded the weight limit for the shoot. A once intelligent boy in the alleyway snorting coke because he was always told this was the way to fit in. A father blowing off his daughter because he is to immersed in his work to have time for his family.

What you see is what you get in this business. Just know that what you don't see is what could seperate the truth from a lie...

There is no compassion left in this desert to help anybody to water, as there is not enough for everyone.
