Lets face it, the Ukulele is the fastest growing instrument to learn to play at the moment and one of the easiest and coolest instruments to be seen playing. And though it is pretty easy to learn, it is important, like any instrument, to learn to play it correctly right from the beginning.

More people, like myself, do not have the money nor time to participate in one on one music lessons (and here in Ireland it is pretty difficult to find a private Ukulele music teacher) and with these private lessons, though they are an excellent perfect way to be taught, they are way to expensive. So people are turning to the Internet (every-bodies new best friend) and using mostly YouTube for the free lessons and tutorials that are available (Hawaii Music Supply is a pretty good one) but for me, these videos are really only for people who have a slight idea of what they are doing.

You do need a little experience before you use these videos because though they are valuable lessons, they will not correct you if you are doing something wrong or tell you how to tune or if your Ukulele is tuned properly which is very important.
