I realize that writing a biography doesn’t come easy for a lot of people that want it done and know how important it is for their business. Maybe you are one of them, are you? If so, then in this article I will give you three contents that make up an artist biography. If you feel like you don’t need it, then it is okay to leave this page. Maybe you came across it by mistake.
Whether you are a music artist or an artist, writing a great bio doesn’t take a whole lot of time, it just takes skills to manifest a creative and enjoyable one. If you don’t know how to start or how to word things, then pay attention closely and take notes.
First content that make up an artist bio
The first thing that makes up an artist biography is comparison. Comparison not only makes you look good, but it raises a red flag for the person reading the bio to really focus and learn something new. People love it when there is a comparison, because they have the option of judging themselves whether or not the person, place or thing that is compared to another person place or thing is better or not, or good or bad.
Second content that makes up an artist bio
The second thing that makes up an artist biography is asking rhetorical questions then answering it with a bold and sarcastic tone. People love it. Not only will they answer your rhetorical question in their head, but they won’t expect you to come out bluntly and give it to them the way a person that is not a traditional journalist would, rather than a out of the box or should I say, “creative journalist” would.
Third content that makes up an artist bio
The third thing that makes up an artist bio is proof. It can be proof of anything. Whether it’s a YouTube video of a song or another information on the internet, proof shows that the artist (you) is an authority of whatever the proof is and also shows that you aren’t playing no games and you’re serious about being an artist. Proof also shows your talent and creativity. It also shows your character, which will entice people to follow you on Twitter, Facebook or even purchase a cd or song. As you can see, proof is everything in a bio. If you don’t have a video or anything else on the web, simply telling them is good enough.
As you can see, being honest and you is everything in a bio. Your bio speaks for you without you actually talking to the reader. The more entertaining you are and stepping a little bit out of your fear, then you will write a better bio about yourself, band or business.
I'm not an artist but I still learned alot here about how to write my bio - thanks!
