5 EASY STEPS TO GET YOU STARTED
If you are serious about learning something then the most important thing to have besides motivation is to have a plan. And the same goes with learning the guitar. You will need beginner guitar lesson plans.
If you have a plan or a schedule of lessons you will naturally progress much faster than you would otherwise.
To make things easier for you I have outlined in five easy steps a plan of action to get you started:
PLAN OF ACTION
1. Get yourself a guitar! Yes, that sounds like a good start eh? Seriously though, you don't need to invest a lot of money in finding a good guitar, there are plenty to choose from at a really good price, or you might even have a friend or family member who will be willing to lend you one.
2. Find yourself a really good online course which will include beginner guitar lessons to get you started. There are plenty to choose from and these days you can actually download a whole course for the price of one singe private lesson! Most courses will let you try a few lessons for free to see if they suit you. So I would recommend checking these out, as you have nothing to loose. Plus I would also look for something that has a 60 day money back guarantee in case you decide that the guitar is not for you.
3. Set aside a certain time each day that will be just for you and your guitar. It should be for at least 15 minutes a day. Actually the fact that this will happen every single day is more important than for how long you will practice or learn for. Also it's a good idea to shut down telephones and really concentrate on the lessons. Make this a quality time for your guitar learning.
4. Sit yourself down on a comfortable chair so that you won't have any aches and pains after the lesson. You need to position yourself in a way that you can naturally strum down on the guitar without any kind of stress on your body.
5. When you're done with your lesson or practice time then put the guitar back in its case to protect it, but leave it in a room where you will have eye contact with it. If you put it away somewhere you will eventually loose motivation to keep at a regular learning schedule. However if you see your guitar you will yearn to play it and stick to your beginner guitar lesson plans.
I guess I should add another very important point here: Chill out and have fun! The guitar is an instrument that is good for your body and soul! Have fun and enjoy your beginner guitar lesson plans to the full!

Excellent tips, Hani. Setting aside time everyday to practice is especially important. Micky, if you'll click on the beginner guitar lessons link at the end of the article, there's some options for guitars on the right side of the page.
Do you know of any good place to buy guitars?
