The question still lies, Do The Younger Generation including me have what it takes to go and produce music?
I'll tell you a story, will keep it short.
Ok, I met this guy from working in the same workplace and we never got on, he looked like one of those (if you don't mind me but Chav's) he had an attitude issue with me.
We never got on and he just never did any work (you can probably relate to what im on about) one day I flipped on him, we argued but that was a turning point, it was out there knowing we hated each other yet now it has made our friendship stronger.
Just the other day we were joking about our little misunderstanding. keep reading hope I haven't bored you just yet as the interesting stuff is below.
So now were really close friends and I never knew until he told me.... but he raps and not just anyone he is fast and makes sense. I never liked rap every, until I met him. He showed me what’s it all about and the passion they put into it. Firstly he introduced me to Mic Righteous, IF you guys haven't heard of him better check him out on the old YouTube. Be he is just amazing his live rap was just so emotional.
This is the words you need to type into YouTube 'Mic Righteous performs 'Kampain' Live at iluvlive 2011'
In the coming weeks I may be recording Mic Righteous friend TheKingTk, both of these guys are talented and really deserve something I wish them the best and hope they do appear on WynWin TV someday.
Anyways enough about that he told me about his past and stuff and how he was writing at the age of 13 and produced a few songs, There is a few videos on my channel and the song from him is there called 'Drunk' they are really good for his age. His name is JMZ so go over and check his stuff out if you are into rap or upcoming stars, I'm currently recording new stuff with him and his new writing skills makes his songs just that bit better. The new stuff will be up in the next weeks so keep tuned and if you want to watch out for new bands.
He has a few songs coming out and he is very passionate about his music but he works full-time so he can't record all the time, yet he write's until the early hours even if he is in at 6 the next day. This is a strong commitment from a young guy.
I also started a band, we were a cover band and was going to progress to making our own songs yet after the first gig the band disbanded.
So I'm guessing you're wondering. 'Who is this guy, why should I trust him?"
Check my bio you will find out more about me.
So the Question Was: Do you think the young generation has what it takes to produce good music which we all will listen to?
I think this has been answered and proven but what do you guys think?
• Have I missed a few points?
• Is this just a temporary thing?
• Does anyone else like Rap?
