Learning how to play music on the piano can be very rewarding and satisfying. In these days most people don't have the time to practice with school or work. Some people don't even enjoy it because of the failures and hard work. They make excuses of why they stopped when they were young and to the present day regret that decision or don't even care about it anymore. It doesn't have to be that way. With a well defined learning system and proper resources playing music can be much less of a burden and much more fun. I am going to discuss the whys of learning piano. In addition, we will find what is required to make playing piano music an enjoyable lifelong experience.

Every aspiring professional, musician, enthusiast and hobbyist wants to learn how to play music and piano.

Mostly because they hear something cool on the radio and want to play it to impress their friends or even better, want to create their own music to put on the radio. Once a person has an understanding for learning music it becomes fun and anyone of any age can learn it. Some musical prodigies learned to piano music when they were 3 years old such as Elton John. He made it big by educating himself. Even old people can play music. Eric Clapton for example is 66 years old (2011) and is a wonderful blues player. By allocating time and commitment you can build a musical talent and skill you’ve always had.

Knowing what it takes to succeed at learning how to play music and piano takes all the guesswork away.

The first concept is action. By making consistent action every day, it brings us reliability in a chaotic environment such as today’s world. A second requirement to find out if it is worth your time is you need to set desirable goals. If you don’t know what you want, why pursue it? The third step is patience. Without patience it is impossible to improve because you will be stuck in the same spot and be wondering why anything hasn’t changed.

In the next set of key ingredients the first is persistence. All the amounts of tiny progress add up to one great big success. Here comes another requirement; practice. In music by practicing a basic scale over a 100 times may seem boring. However in key gripping moments when a quick decision has to be made like delivering a fast arpeggiation in a middle of a song, you can create a musical dazzle to amaze listeners. Yes, anything is possible. Lastly, you need a willingness to learn. You must first want to learn to play music and piano if you want succeed.

If anyone follows those six guidelines mentioned above now you can change that nice display in your house into a musical instrument.

Many people welcome a person who plays music on the piano because you can display skill and talent. Instead of only listening you can create and publish your own work because of what you learned. There unlimited amounts of possibilities of what a musician can do. One neat idea that Liberace uses with this knowledge was being able to change the basic beginner’s version of “Chopsticks” and play a fun version called “Liberace Chopsticks”- a dazzling number. Now you understand the rewards and satisfaction involved in learning how to play music and piano, action must be taken. Time is always available even when people have school or work. You just have to make it available. Plan! In this modern society we are so blessed to have technology at our finger tips because people are always finding better ways to accomplish something. However with so much information over the internet it can be overwhelming. To make things easy I have created a resource for beginners to advanced pianists alike to complete that mission- learn how to play music and piano.

There are professionals out there teaching methods to learn how to play piano and music the right way.
