All who want to make it big bad enough can achieve, just that. Along with other examples of turning dreams into careers and those careers into cashing phat checks. Another young guy stepped on the seen proving your never to young to bust out on the for front and show everybody what you got and what your going to offer. He goes by the name of Lex Luger.
Lexus Lewis better known as “Lex Luger” the hit making music producer. Now Lex Luger is closer to the typical young guy just like anyone now a days more than anyone else in the game. He is from Suffolk Virginia and was born march 6th 1991. What really got him started in making beats was he use to play the drums and percussion at church growing up. Lex eventually moved on to making music on music generator for Playstation 2. He bought a MPC 2000 from his uncle experimenting making beats with that. Shortly after he started to finally use a digital program on the computer called Fruity loop studios, were he began to heighten his soon to be profession.
Still always making beats on his P.C. using fl studio, he began to constantly keep sending beats to all the artist he felt was in his category for the style beat he makes. The way he went about doing so was through a social network website, millions of people are part of called Myspace. Luger would never give up on sending beats to artist he felt would rap to his style of beats.
Finally a southern artist who gained his popularity from his hit “O Lets Do It” called, “Wacka Flocka Flame” would eventually respond to Lex. Due to them developing a relationship started from him receiving many of Lex Lugers beats. Wacka asked Lex Luger to fly out to the state of Georgia in the city of Atlanta were he, would now reside in. While in Atlanta Lex would hear the song “Hard in the Pant” on the radio from Wacka Flocka which became a hit, and he produced the beat. Right before his eyes his career was born, that song becoming a hit was just what he needed to boast his career.
Now from working with Wacka Flocka Lex began working with many other well known artist from that point on. Lex Luger produced ‘B.M.F and ‘MC Hammer’ from artist “Rick Ross” and song ‘H.A.M. from “Kanye West” which continue to only help his career keep growing. Those are song he produced just to name a few. He also produced music for Drake, Lil Scrappy, Gorilla Zoe, Wiz Khalifa and many more.
Lex Luger is currently signed to Mizay Entertainment and a producer for rapper Gucci Mane’s group 1017“Brick Squad” were Wacka Flocka is also a part of. Lex Luger went on to be nominated for producer of the year on the ‘BET awards and his career is still continuing to grow. Lex Luger is a prime example of not giving up on what you want to do. He started out from living in his mothers house making beats like every other teen now he took his dream to the next level producing music for the big boys in the game. Everyone trying to become a music producer, even anything else just has to keep pushing an they will find the correct avenue there looking for that will take them to right were they need to be.
