Hard to believe eh? Yes, I also get very skeptical when I hear that something is 'free' because usually it actually ends up costing me a fortune!
Generally speaking I try to avoid 'free' things, especially online. But with guitar lessons I make an exception. You know why? Because there are some very good online guitar sites who are actually giving away several free lessons in order to show people their true value. To give them a taste, so to speak.
Now, in my opinion, this is something that should be taken advantage of. Especially if these free lessons are given by a reputable website. When I first started playing the guitar I actually learned a whole bunch of stuff from some really good free lessons that were available back then. I'm talking about at least seven years ago, so actually there are many more available today.
So yes, in this instance I think it would be kind of silly not to take advantage of these free online guitar lessons. The only thing is you might need some guidance in choosing exactly which lessons to go for. The internet has become so vast that it can be quite overwhelming looking for the right thing.
However there are several sites who have taken the time to review different options and outline the best lessons for you. I would recommend going to one of these review sites who often list a number of different choices and checking out in one place what is available and what is the best course for you. Usually these chosen products which are in the reviews have been tried and tested so you can find reputable feedback right there which might help you to make a decision.
Don't look around too much because you will end up surfing online from place to place and probably will become a little bit confused and frustrated trying to find the best free online guitar lessons. In fact all of that wasted time could be utilized in actually learning the guitar instead!
The truth is that you don't have to worry too much because you really don't have anything to loose. In just a couple of clicks you can obtain your free lessons and try them out in your very own living room.
I learned to play the guitar by taking free online guitar lessons and then eventually I signed up for a course that suited me. Within about 2 months I was playing quite well. So don't waste anymore time procrastinating - just do it! as Nike would have it.
Taking a few free lessons is a good idea to start learning and to test the waters. You never know if you will like something until you try it.
Yeah, since it's free why not give the lessons a test drive. And you can use the info to help you decide if further lessons are worth the investment.
Back in 1964 when I started to learn how to play guitar, they didn't have online guitar lessons. I love the fact that I can sit at home and work on my guitar licks, and pick up some awesome tips on how to play the guitar. Thank goodness I learned how to use a computer. As stated in the article above, I usually avoid free stuff too, but with online guitar lessons, I would say they are the exception to the rule. Great article!
I enjoyed reading this article on online guitar lessons. I have found that I was able to take the mystery out of finding the right instructor by watching their free videos and then choosing the right instructor for the right style.. I believe that you learn how to play guitar much quicker than ever before with online guitar lessons.
Great tip here Hani! I don't know that there are free electric guitar lessons out there. I must go and take a look at them as well.
