A home based business usually connects with Internet Marketing or Network Marketing. Obviously, that's not likely a surprise to anyone reading this article. Most of us working from our home office are on the computer during the work day or often into our evening hours. Either we are writing articles, building a blog, selling a product by affiliate marketing, etc.
Is there a conflict between Internet Marketing and Network Marketing? Maybe there is according to some experts but in my opinion both interlock with the other. Internet Marketing is a natural connect with whatever you are doing on the Networking front. Both areas seek customers/clients and subscribers. Maybe we should not separate into two divisions but join forces to build success on the same track.
Truth is.... it's a non-issue. Most of the time the network marketing forces are driven by up-lines. Whomever introduces you or your neighbor to a networking business is responsible for your training in the "how to" side of your business. There's no question that huge firms have grown into successful enterprises as a result.
Unfortunately, it's like babies teaching babies for most networking companies. In spite of the lack of training from all sides, excitement and enthusiasm about the new networking business seems to override the newbie challenges. It seems that ignorance of the details or facts has not slowed down opportunity and growth.
Regardless of what you call it..... Internet Marketing and Network Marketing are formidable systems that have been developed into super sales machines that are unstoppable to the success of millions who choose to have a home based business.
As you might expect, some networking firms, i.e. MLM to most, fail to survive and the same goes for the Internet Marketing firms that begin and flounder. Sometimes it's lack of leadership, money or simply that the product or service never catches fire within the marketplace.
ONline businesses are faced with the same challenges as the OFFline entrepreneur. Usually, something is missing or lacking. Sufficient money, knowledge, tools are all necessary. Too often the desire to own your own business is not enough to expect a successful experience. At minimum it takes a business plan backed up with experience, knowledge, education, training, plus sufficient financial backing to survive.
Success comes in different flavors for the entrepreneur. Some folks think that $20K a month income is off the charts while another person makes $100K monthly and wants more. How much is enough? Just a "little" more seems the standard answer. There is no perfect answer because all of us are driven to succeed. Our own values are the driving force behind what we determine as enough or satisfactory for us.
Mastermind teams are unusual in many markets but it seems that Networking and Internet Marketing are prime avenues of sharing, giving back to the marketplace.
one thing I have found, is that with my affiliate marketing, is that i have to treat it like a full time job, literally. That means getting my butt out of bed every morning, getting dressed, and going to work by a certain time (8AM), and staying in that chair until 5PM. I even take a lunch break at the same time, just like a real job. It helps to play the part, and by forcing my brain to treat it that way, i am a lot more productive, than if I was sitting around in my pajamas all day.
