How To Earn Swag Bucks

Call me addicted, but I just really like Swagbucks.

What is Swagbucks you all may ask. Well, it's actually quite easy. First of all, my suggestion is to plainly check out the website. See what it's all about. I'm going to tell you how you can use it to your advantage, and how it can really help you out. It's a really cool thing.

This is how it works. You go to the website, and read through all of the FAQ's, things that I may have missed here. Basically it's a site that allows you to gather up points, and when you gather up enough, then you can purchase a store gift card. Really. Things like from Walmart or Amazon, or others--those 2 are my main ones. You can get Swagbucks just by searching with their toolbar. Get a few Swags just for searching, like you would on Google or Bing. Get 500 of them, get a $5 gift card. Not a bad deal for hardly doing anything.

I, on the other hand am a little more aggressive.

I like to try credit cards, and get tons, I mean A LOT of Swag bucks! One offer I tried out gave me 3000 Swagbucks! Which amounts to $30 in gift cards. Unreal isn't it. But I have. Or, you can try checking out your credit scores, and then get get like 700-1200 Swagbucks. Different deals do different offers. So, after reading this article, if the credit score people give only 650 Swagbucks, it's because their offer changed.

Oh, of course. When you Shop online, you can get swagbucks! A lot of places now are giving you swagbucks just when you purchase online. Let's say you like to shop at Walmart. Then, you pick out your items--and make sure the toolbar is initiated, and let's say, you spent like $75. Well, not a swagbuck thing, but most likely you got free shipping anyway, but you'll also get like 225 Swagbucks just for shopping--stuff you do anyway--and all the time!

It's a superb deal.

There are so many shops there that honor the Swagbucks. And, not just Walmart and Amazon, but many many more. There's way too many to list. You'll just have to check it out yourself there. Let me summarize it up for you.

Here's the Summary of Swagbucks:

Pros:

  • A great way to make some extra "gift card" money towards things that you buy all the time. Real stores in which you can shop at, and get bonus's from the places you would already shop anyway.
  • When you add the tool bar, and do the search, you'll get a few for just doing an item that you would search for on Google or Bing, anyway. I can't guarantee 100% of the time that you'll get a bonus point or 2, but most of the time I did.
  • It will help you get that "special" item that you've been eye'n over, and helps you with your purchases.
  • Most of the time you come out ahead anyway.
  • The Swagbucks staff are great. I had a couple of issues with the vendors, I contacted them, and they, in return contacted the companies, and I got my Swagbucks as promised in the agreement.
  • You can try these offers for more of the higher and aggressive deals, and remember to cancel beforehand. Just make sure you read the small print.

Cons:

  • You will not become a millionaire by playing the game. If you want to grow rich over night, don't bother.
  • You won't be able to pay off of your credit cards with them. Nor your electric or telephone bill.
  • It does take a little patience. When you get enough Swagbucks to get a giftcard, it takes like a week to get it finalized into your account.
  • Still be careful, and smart. If it's not something that you would like to try, it's probably not a good deal. Some deals are break evens, some are just a plain waste of time. Just be aware of that.

Bottom Line:

Is it a good deal in my opinion. Absolutely yes. Will you get rich from it? No. Is it worth your time in participating in them, I really think so, but that's a choice you can see for yourself. I like to shop at those places I've mentioned, and maybe you do too. Remember: You can get swagbucks just for shopping at places you do NOW anyways. That in itself is a great deal--points add up, and then the giftcards do too!

Heck, you can give them to someone you love, as a gift. Try it, I think you'll like it.
