As a former college student myself, I know how hard it can be to support yourself. Sometimes you just don’t have time to have a job, or maybe you have a job, but it still isn’t enough. One great way to make some extra money would be to do some work online. There are many different sites you can go to, and a few different things you can try, but I will be talking about a few that I have found a little more successful than others.

Incentivized Freebie Websites (IFW’s)

WARNING- Make sure you keep meticulous records of all offers you complete!

IFW’s are those websites you see that say they will give you a free TV if you complete some offers. Are they real? Yes. Do they work? Yes. Can you profit off of the? Definitely, I have had more success in a short time with IFWs than any other online method I have found. The problem is that they can be very risky at first. If you don’t read the terms and conditions for every offer, and pick and choose carefully, you can actually lose a lot of money with these.

Writing Articles

Writing articles is probably the best way to make money online. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of work. If you don’t like writing, or you have trouble with grammar, than you may have trouble finding success using this method. While there are a lot of sites (including this one) that let you publish all the articles you want online, writing for other peoples websites is not the best way for you to make money.

Create Your Own Website

Okay, I know you probably read this article because you need money now, but the truth is, you won’t find a lot of immediate success online. If you want to make real money, than it is best to create your own website, with your own topic. It will not be immediate income. In fact, it may be six months before you even see results, but at the end of the day (maybe I should say end of the year), you will get the best results doing this. Who knows? Maybe you'll be the next Sergey Brin or Larry Page! Then, you wouldn't even need that college degree you're working so hard for.

Success takes time. A lot of time. Just remember that it is very important to stay focused, set clear goals, and remember what motivates you. Anybody can do this, but few have the ambition to follow through.
