You’ve probably heard of many secrets in the field of money making and secret after secret and yet still 90% of the network marketing world is still broke. The three skill sets you must develop are prospecting, presenting, and marketing!
Prospecting may scare you, if it does and you dream of making money in this business; I’ll save you the time and tell you to leave it along. You have to learn how to prospect; and do not get prospecting confused with marketing. After you’ve done the marketing and advertising, you would have then developed a prospect, whom you still must lead through the funnel to joining your business as a customer or business associate. To do this, you must get comfy on the phone because in this day and age you are not going to find folks just mosey into your business without any conversation. Occasionally, but not all the time so you must get your skill level good enough to guide people every step of the way until they hand you a check or credit card.
Next skill set you want to master is your presentation. When I say presentation, I’m not talking about standing in the front of the room with a suit on making people laugh and sign up for your biz opp. I simply mean you have to develop the skill set to present your business or products to people and know how to do it right to keep your prospect a qualified prospect. Qualified prospects are easier to close because they feel empowered not just by your presentation but by your entire system, which began with your marketing.
Marketing is your bread and butter; getting the right people in the door is your best bet and with proper marketing you will do that. Many gurus like to tell people that you need to get a good list of business opportunity seekers… you’re dead wrong. You need people who have shown interest in growing a business because they have the desire, the know-how, and the experience to join and grow a business. It is no different when you’re looking for people to use your product. You want people who have purchased a similar product or who are in need of and desire your product.
To get business builders you need to target people who are already in business because they will be better prepared and they have shown that they are willing to throw down cash to build business. It then becomes your priority to educate them, develop them to grow a great business. This is the simple network marketing secrets you can bank on.
