With the economy the way that it today, you like many others are probably looking for a way to supplement your income. Many families find themselves struggling to pay the bills, and because of this many are getting further and further in debt. With the cost of living increasing every year workers are finding that they are working harder and longer hours but it doesnt seem to be helping. Some households have to sacrifice family time to work 2 maybe even 3 jobs just to pay the rent and keep food on the table.
At the start of the year I had to go on a sick leave at my job because of a medical condition which was affecting my ability to work long periods of time. My doctor ordered a bunch of tests for me to see if we could find out where the pain was coming from. After all the tests were finished I went to see my doctor, and he told me that I had nerve damage in my shoulder there was nothing that they could do. I couldn’t work anymore since I didn’t know when my flare ups were going to happen.
I'm a person who takes prides me being very independent, I was born with a bone condition and never once let it slow me down, and now I wasn’t allowed to work anymore, I started feeling sorry for myself, I had the secure job, the one with the benefits, commissions, and hourly I had the perfect job that I was really good at and enjoyed, I loved my job! My husband’s a seasonal worker so when he is working it's good money but mainly his job was the buffer it helped pay the bills.
Within a month we started feeling the sting of me not working. Our bills were piling up, we were behind in our rent we barely had money to eat, he was getting some work but not enough. We were drowning in debt, sinking fast; we were living day to day not knowing if we could pay our way or not. If you have ever been there you know it is the most helpless feeling you can get. I had to do something.
One thing I have always been good at is working with computers, I am efficient, and knowledgeable it’s my passion. So I got on my computer and I started looking, I wanted to see if there was any way I could get something out of being at home and being a computer geek as my husband would say. I started my just typing in work from home, but holy smokes to you get a lot of hits under that search. So I start to cut my search down I added online in, still got a ton, added typist and that narrowed it down a bit more. As I was clicking the links I had to have clicks 10 – 20 many said you had to pay to use, others made no sense. I was lost for a few but then I found some sites that you can make money alot of different ways. I want to tell you some tips to looking for a site that is good for you, and ways to make it easy for you to get started!
If you take anything from this article I want you to take this tip to heart. The idea of working from home is to make yourself extra money, Your not going to get rich off these so if you think this is a get rich quick opportunity you are looking in the wrong place, that’s the first thing. Next since YOU want to make money don’t get caught up in the sites that say. ”You’ll make 6 digits we’ll tell you how now just pay (such amount of money) just pay the one time cost to sign up”, (but do keep in mind that some sites if you choose to do charge a small fee for posting ads to their sites prices can vary but depending on the site and some of the sites usually give you a way to make money or earn ad tokens, all you have to do is look.).
There are also sites that ask you to make an investment, stay clear of those too. Keep in mind when you are going for a job interview, have you paid that employer anything? That answer is NO, so why should you have to pay online for registration fee. There are plenty of sites that allow you to work from home for them with out fees.
A few other things to consider when trying out different work from home ventures, first be organized, when you working from home there are many sites you are going to sign up for and register to. One big way of becoming organized is start up a new email for your work from home opportunities. The reason you want to make a separate email from your personal email because you are going to get a ton of emails from companies. Whenever you register for a new job opportunity you will get an email to confirm you address. News Letters get sent out, reminders of jobs, surveys, so take it from me you don’t want your inbox to get jammed full of offers.
The last thing I do when it comes to organizing emails is that I separate them according to company. When you do this you can quickly access the links to the place you want to work for the day and when you earn money with different sites send you a confirmation email, great place to start.
There are just a few things to consider when you are going to venture into the world of work from home opportunities. I hope this article has given you a lot of information needed to start working from the comfort of your own home; I will be posting more of these in the future so keep your eyes opened!
