Independent label, Kutric Records just announced they'll be releasing special Valentine's Day ringtones, derived from their entire catalogue of songs that are based on relationships. But, what makes this promotion really special is that the ring tones will be free from Kutroc Record's website.
First ringtone to be released will be Mateo Medina's "All I'm Sayin,'" which is the newest release from this artist. Second up will be the latest track from Kitarah, "Time Machine." Lastly, "I'm that Dude" from Maverik aka MoneyMova's.
Ultimately, Kutric Records plans to create the special ringtones by using sentimental messages from each song. As well, to really reveal each artist's individuality, Kutric Records will also make corresponding videos for each Valentine's Day ringtone. Meteo Medina's first video for "All I'm Sayin'" has already been released on YouTube to rave reviews and hundreds of mounting daily visitors.
Kutric Records founder, Luis Medina, has made it clear he plans to use social media to their advantage, rather than shy away from it. It's really no surprise, Medina experiencing is working in high profile positions within the Information Technology industry for the past twenty years. He recently took the leap into the music industry with plans of, "build[ing] a brand" for himself and label. He feels now is the right time as advancements in technology "continue to level the playing field."
Utilizing social media and all the that technology has to offer isn't the only trait that sets Kutric Records apart from other music labels; they've made it their mission to only work with a handful of artists at a time. Medina was recently quoted as saying, "I want my label to be known as the artist's label where artists are rewarded for their hard work in the recording process."
Sounds like Kutric Records not only has a solid plan, but are moving in the right direction towards creating hype and interest for their artists. Their plan is to officially launch the careers of their artists in 2012 and what better way than launching just in time for Valentines Day? Hey, maybe we'll even see an album release in time for Valentine's Day? Could make the perfect Valentine's Day Gift for your loved one.
