Being named forbes top influential person in 2010 and a young billionaire he created a social phenomenon from the ground up, Mark Zuckerberg has been around the block a few times. From the film "The Social Network" he's portayed as a awkward harvard student that betrayed his best friend out of the idea of facebook. The buzz on Mr. Zuckerberg recently is his new diet. Mark Zuckerberg's new diet allows Mark to kill animals for his own meat. He says, he's killed a pig, live lobster, and a goat. The goat he killed by a knife to the throat the kind way. Maybe hunting is in the facebook founders near future.
Zuckerberg explains of a pig roast he had at his house this last year. A load of people told him that even though they loved the taste of pork, they really didn't like the thought of it once being alive. Zuckerberg found this irresponsible. He says he doesn't have an issue with whatever people choose to eat, but he explains they should be more responsible and be thankful for the food they eat rather than ignoring that it was once alive. It's almost like thanksgiving for most of the people that don't have the time or resources to kill our own livestock. Being thankful for our food requires maybe a prayer before dinner and enjoying each others company.
The practice of killing your own prey is becoming increasingly popular among rich folks in the area of silicon valley. Silicon Valley is where Zuckerberg lives and butchers his food. It helps knowing where your food comes from it is not only more healthy and it also puts your mind at ease that theirs no harsh practices of the killing. Zuckerbergs diet is his personal challenge this year. Maybe Zuckerberg new diet will influence others to be thankful for the chicken breast they picked up at the grocery store or the seafood in the supermarket. Zuckerberg is going back to his roots where early man had to fight for his food in order to survive.
Last year, he studied Chinese an hour a day. Zuckerberg was introduced to this new diet by his local chef in Silicon Valley. His chef taught him how to slaughter his food. Animals such as the goat, pig and chicken. Mark Zuckerberg's diet is not far fetched as you might think. He is essentially a vegetarian but decided to give thanks to his food by killing it himself. Zuckerberg can kill my food anytime.
